I'm always uncomfortable in a new place, but it didn't take long to feel right at home in this house. It is close to everything and the only noise on the street came from the kids I brought with me. Doreen is lovely! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Doreen’s home was a lovely, cozy and comfortable retreat after a long and hot day in Buffalo and at the Falls. We loved the porch and small yard and drank our coffee on the porch each morning. We especially enjoyed chatting with Doreen, who lives above the VRBO. She is an absolutely lovely woman! 5 stars all around!

I booked this based on the reviews as I was looking for something safe and clean for my family (2 adults, 2 kids) to stay in while visiting Niagara Falls. The reviews were accurate. Everyone had their own bed, there was a nice, big table and chairs to eat and play games, big kitchen with coffee pot/stove/fridge/kitchenware, plenty of seating in the living room, and it was less than 5 minutes to Niagara Falls State Park. There was some confusion about parking in the driveway (don't do it) and I never could remember which side of the street I was supposed to park on but those were very minor issues. We also enjoyed Dee Dee's ice cream and The Griffon Gastropub nearby. I would highly recommend this rental and wouldn't hesitate to book again if we are in the area. Thanks!

Doreen & Tony were excellent hosts. Recommended local donut shop for breakfast. Apartment is cozy- reminds me of going to grandma's house. Arrival & check out were easy. Location is convenient & felt safe.

Overall good, clean property. Doreen was very helpful, with suggestions on place to dine as well. Very close to the falls. Convenient! Need to park only on certain side of street each day, Doreen was helpful in pointing that out. VRBO mentions usage of driveway, but thats incorrect, as driveway cannot be used. Would have given 5 stars, but single bath and no laundry were a little bit of issue, although both were mentioned in the property description.

Just loving those quiet spots close to a tourist destination but far enough to relax and enjoy. 1.5-miles from the falls. Had everything we needed and host was such a peach!

If you're a fan of historic homes, this rental is perfect. It's a good amount of space, all on one floor, and the original architecture is so well preserved. The charm of all the wood detail, the farmhouse sink, the decor - I personally just love that stuff! The US side of Niagara has some questionable areas, but we felt pretty good on this street. Our trip was cut short when one of the kids became ill. We had been scheduled for a few more days, but Doreen was caring and accommodating, and that was greatly appreciated.

We really enjoyed our vacation staying at Doreen's house. It was cozy and felt like home. House was clean, had everything what we needed, area was nice and quiet. Doreen and her family were absolutely beautiful and very pleasant people. We loved it!

We had a lovely experience in Niagara Falls. Tony and Doreen were very attentive and friendly with all the best recommendations for food and activities. They addressed an issue that we had promptly and professionally. Depending on your frame of reference, the city of Niagara Falls is very depressed, however, Tony and Doreen's street was quiet, peaceful and cared for....it reminded me of the street my grandma lived on when I was a kid. We enjoyed coffee on the front porch each morning and if it’s early enough, you can hear the falls. We enjoyed the porch in the evenings as well. The decor is kitschy, but it was clean. The surrounding areas are beautiful: The Gorge hiking trails, Devils Hole state Park & Whirlpool State park are all gorgeous places to get rigorous exercise and take in nature. We also loved The Maid of the Mist and the Jet boat cruise! All in all, a positive experience! Thank you Doreen and Tony

The hosts were excellent - very helpful and kind, quick to answer our questions and went above and beyond what we were expecting. The house was very well equipped and clean with everything we needed. However, we are sensitive to the smell of cats and could notice it at times. Overall, it was a great place to stay!

Doreen was extremely friendly! She made us feel like we were right at home. The location of her property is perfect for anyone wanting to visit Niagara Falls. The home was clean and ready when it was supposed to be and we had no issues while we stayed. I would recommend renting from her and would definitely stay there again.

We had a fun visit, a close drive to the state park and attractions, we only used the two back bedrooms and were happy with those, used the kitchen a bunch and were quite comfortable. The boys enjoyed watching the cats out the front door!
