After paying for the rental, we received a "by the way" message from the owner that the ceiling had been removed in a bathroom due to possible water intrusion. The bathroom ceiling had plastic, and we were told the investigation showed no concerns. Had we been properly informed prior to paying for the condo, we would have cancelled and booked a different property due to having asthma. Arriving at the condo, we were overwhelmed with a strong mildew/musty odor. The refrigerator was filthy. The ice cubes were in one large block with something brown encased. The cupboards wreak with the door linings peeling off, the cloth furniture and the linens wreak, +++. Within minutes the soles on my husband's white socks were black, and so were the soles of my bare feet. We started taking photos and contacted the owner. We purchased cleaning supplies and cleaned throughout our stay. We also cleaned when we left the condo. Even the neighbor commented on the horrible odor when the door was opened. After several asthma flares we decided to depart early. We have not been able to get the foul smell out of our clothes, handbags, shoes, etc. after numerous washings. The unhealthy environment has been reported to vrbo. This review is done with a measure of trepidation because an owner can give a negative review of the renter which may make it more difficult to rent in the future. After days of serious consideration, the possible health consequences to others outweigh a possible negative review.

Our host Deb was so helpful with information on the area. Always answered any questions in a timely manner. The condo is beautiful, and has everything you will need. It's beautifully decorated. The location is great. Near so many restaurants and places of interest. Already planning to go back next year.

Overall the property is really beautiful. All the furnishing were wonderful and the decor was beautiful. Also the condo was very well supplied. We had a challenge because we have an Expedition and the assigned parking space was very tight for us. Just be aware even though this condo is non smoking , the neighbors on both sides smoke.

I felt bad calling Deb when we got there because we had trouble opening the door. But it was all our fault. We never saw a front door open out and we kept pushing in. She was very nice about it. We were familar with the area and visited with friends/relatives. The location was great! The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the pool. We have rented for many years and never had a condo as well stocked as this one.

Perfect place for a month in Florida! Decorated beautifully, all the comforts of home! Complex is great, pool is heated. Nothing not to like. Can’t wait to stay here again next year!
