Could not improve on this beautiful room - actually an apartment! Every detail was provided. The location allowed us to walk anywhere in downtown easily. Great restaurants within a couple minutes walk (if that long). The owners were very accommodating. What more could you ask for?

The property is exactly what you'd expect from the listing. Beautiful view. Fantastic location. Easy way to be in PT. David was tremendous in getting me checked in and being communicative. Perfect!

Wonderful place to stay! The location is amazing, so close to the coffee shops, restaurants, and stores. The outdoor spaces are beautiful. The property is lovely and everything was clean and well-stocked. Communication with the owner was exceptional. We have little kids (ages 6m-8y) and felt very comfortable there. I would highly recommend this rental property.

This hidden treasure has it all! We were in close proximity to the Salish sea, restaurants, uptown, downtown and hiking! The visits from local deer made the home even more serene.

My stay at A Suite at The Fountain was beyond my expectations. I wanted privacy, comfort, and walkability to downtown Port Townsend’s restaurants and shops. All of those boxes were checked. I wanted to be close to nature, and the patio nestled into the hillside placed me there. I wanted to share the space with a dear friend and close family members. This was the perfect place. My hosts, Dave and Sheila treated me like family. It doesn’t get any better. My stay at A Suite at The Fountain was magical.

Very private, scenic view of trees with a park next to the property. Owners provide all cooking, kitchen items. Enjoyed the soaking tub. Lots of windows. Private patio area. Location is great for walking to the shops, theater, and water. Owners very kind and responsive.

We love Port Townsend. The Penthouse was perfect. Charming, warm, inviting, well stocked. Lovely private deck, for morning coffee, or evening cocktails. One morning we had guests, a mother deer and her fawn. They were totally comfortable with us. The location was great, within walking distance to all of downtown. The beds were comfortable with cozy cotton sheets and perfect pillows!! I highly recommend this charming place. I know we will come back. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your little hideaway.

Lovely suit with everything you could possibly need. One block off main street so it's super quiet at night and feels very private but easy to walk to all our venues. Dave kindly let us check out late so we could change after the closing ceremony (2pm) which was wonderful since I was in full Victorian/Steampunk garb with multiple layers. 4 adults and we had lots of room.

A lovely suite with a perfect location - quiet but just a block from the main street of downtown. The suite is well-appointed and comfortable, the pictures do not do it justice! We were three adults and one kid, with just the right amount of space for a few day stay. We hope to return!

I was visiting Port Townsend for my High School reunion. I found this space, the main attraction being proximity to downtown. Concerned there would be no vacancies, as PT is a hot destination/vacation spot, I hadn't much looked at the photos, I booked it right away. Imagine my surprise, it was utterly charming, I discovered once I arrived. Spacious, private, safe. I heartily recommend a stay here as a wonderful addition to your visit to Port Townsend.

Smooth arrival, instructions were perfect. The well equipped kitchen and communal space so welcoming and comfortable. We loved the patio , birds and visiting deer. An ideal location in town. The Fountain Cafe next door was sublime and open 2-8 everyday.

During our stay it was wild and windy but we were warm and comfortable in this well appointed suite, steps away from shops and restaurants. The kitchen is stocked with quality tableware and just about everything needed to prepare simple meals or a feast. Our host was responsive, thoughtful, and flexible. In the end there was an issue with the VRBO billing- our host quickly sorted it out and had a reimbursement issued. We will definitely stay here again.

Wonderfully appointed apartment. It's perfectly situated above the fountain so you look out the expansive windows onto the garden and fountain area or the hillside. It was easy to go up the stairs to uptown or stay in the downtown area. It felt like a little nest in the woods. We have stayed in Port Townsend many times and this apartment is our favorite.

My teen daughter and I had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful property. It was close to all the shops and restaurants, so we could walk everywhere. Dave and Sheila were terrific hosts, and very responsive. I will definitely be returning in the future. Thanks again!

My husband and I stayed at the Fountain Apartment for a weekend Getaway. It was a perfect location...in walking distance for all you need for a date weekend. Good food right next...across the courtyard..and across the street!!! Clean apartment. We saw a doe and her fawns and racoons right out the window. Highly recommend this sweet place.

This was a great quaint apartment above downtown Port Townsend. It was easy to walk to all the festivities. The rental was well stocked for all your needs, we particularly loved the water pressure in the shower.

I loved being blocks away from PT's charming main drag, while being able to take a latte and walk up the stairs to upper Port Townsend and enjoy the views from there. The apartment was a great layout, super private, everything I needed.

I LOVE this little slice of heaven! Dave and Sheila are AMAZING hosts who make sure to take great care of their guests. There was a BIG rain and wind storm our 1st night and most of town lost power for a few hours. Dave immediately texted the evening of the storm and the morning after to check in on us and make sure we were ok! The beds are VERY comfortable and the overall place is fully stocked with anything you could possibly need for a weekend, or a week, away! This was our 2nd time staying at the Suite and we will be back many more :)

Very comfortable and clean. Location is great - walking distance to all kinds of shops. Only drawback is the lack of parking. I’d have to park on top of Washington until the cars cleared out and I could move my car down in front of property.

The suite is located in a perfect location for enjoying downtown Port Townsend. Everything is in walking distance. It is very well furnished and attractive. Stairs might be challenging to someone with mobility problems. Had to park on the street using my parallel parking skills.

This is a great little treasure right in the heart of the town but its location makes you feel like your in the woods. Perched 3 stories above a sunken garden with a great deck for chillaxing. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Kitchen is up to date with all the amenities one would need or want including Pete's Cofee. Looking forward to coming back.

This was the perfect place to stay, relax, and enjoy Port Townsend. The space was clean, well-appointed, and the overall atmosphere of the place was very relaxing. The owners were very easy to communicate with and made the process of check-in/check-out extremely easy. I will definitely be staying here again!

We were very happy with this VRBO. Our son loved playing with the game like jenga, and we were very happy to be within walking distance of shops, restaurants, the ferry, and parks. We used the car to get to Fort Worden and to Safeway, but otherwise left it parked. The kitchen was quite nice. I'd love to be there in a cooler season where we could enjoy the woodstove! In the heat of August, though, it's all about using the fans and windows. We'd love to go again.

very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Parking was an issue at times but not the fault of the hosts. Popular destination and time was the reason for limited parking. Nice to see that the city didn't enforce parking limits.

This home is the perfect spot for exploring Port Townsend. We stayed for THING 2022 (music & arts festival), so the Suite was the perfect retreat after a long, event-filled day. It was quiet and private, and my boys felt like we were staying in a tree house. It was an enjoyable walk to seek out coffee in the morning, though there is, of course, a French press if you prefer to make your own. We loved spending the rest of the morning on the deck/patio after making breakfast in the well-stocked kitchen. Shops and the waterfront are a few minutes walk away. The homeowners were gracious and just the right amount of attentive. We look forward to staying at the Suite again.
