We loved the People’s House! The vibe is very welcoming and the layout is fantastic, plus the uptown location is so convenient. I hesitate saying too much because I don’t want it to be booked when I want to stay there 😃.

A very conveniently located house, with a nice master bedroom, and spacious shared space. This is an apartment within a house, and sound does travel in the space. Definitely a non-issue for us, but something to consider for your group.

Charming VRBO. We have stayed in numerous VRBO's that have been "flipped" for that purpose and are well appointed with modern touches. This VRBO is not that. It is in a lovely neighborhood with deer visiting each morning. The space itself has character and charm. Large backyard, eat in kitchen and a split floorplan. If you like modern with all of the newest features, this is not for you. If you enjoy a place that is homey and comfortable, with character, you have found it!

This trip was on my bucket list because my daughter-in-law told us about this charming community and this lovely VRBO. They stayed here years ago and loved it and we were fortunate to stay here too. We stayed in the 3 bedroom unit which was very clean and comfortable. We absolutely loved the community. There was lots to do and the people are very welcoming. We will be back. Thank you Kelly.

We loved our stay in PT. The house was quaint and well located with plenty of space for the four of us. It was a little damp/cold while we were there so having the fireplace in the living room was a nice treat. Close to downtown yet in a quiet neighborhood.

This property is in a great location minutes (walking) from downtown Port Townsend. Property was clean and beds were very comfortable. This property is an historic home, and there are some funky things about it due to its age. We arrived on what was probably the coldest night of the year in Port Townsend and it took quite a while to warm up the place. Entrance to master bedroom is kind of a trip hazard- the transition sticks up several inches. The unit is very spacious- great for a family. Overall, would stay here again.

This property is perfect. Spacious, fun decor, comfy furniture and beds, enough bathrooms for a large family, wonderful gas fireplace/stove in the living room, farm like kitchen so the entire family can eat together…and….Clean! The property manager is easy to communicate with and helpful. We love it here. And, we hope to continue our holiday reunions here every year.

We spent 5 days at this location. Spacious, bright, clean and welcoming. Kelly was a great host. The coffee maker didn’t work and I texted Kelly early in the morning; within several hours a brand new coffee maker was at our door! Location is fantastic - walking distance to everything. We will book here again.

There was an ant problem while we were there & the windows were painted shut & no fans during 90+ temperatures. One fan was delivered on second day.

Adorable property!
We had 6 of us in town for a retreat and originally booked our stay for 2019! Unfortunately, Covid had us pushing our stay out until 2022, and the host was so gracious working with me to reschedule! The home is adorable and every single one of us couldn’t get over how cute the property/house was! It was clean, and spacious, in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to everything. I will definitely look into this property again when in Port Townsend! I would give 10 stars if I could!

Beautiful property
Everything was great! We would recommend that anyone using the 3 bedroom unit leave the washing machine door open to prevent mold from forming and to really clean out the lint from the dryer. We vacuumed out the extra lint because the lint trap wouldn’t go down all the way. Other than that it was a fabulous place to stay and we highly recommend staying here!!! Beds extremely comfortable and would love to find where we could purchase for our own home 😁

My Daughter, grand daughter and I had plenty of room in which to enjoy a four night stay. We specially enjoyed the sun porch. And the yard is fenced in with a swing. My grand daughter wants to stay longer. Our only discomfort was the ants. It took some if the pleasure out of using g the kitchen. It is close to both up and down town. Once we got there we didn’t need to use our car at all. Yet we were in a lovely neighborhood. We would come again.

And, what is best, you’re a block away from the Saturday Street market. I highly recommend this property. This is my fourth stay.

We had been on the road for the better part of a week. Most of our accomodations had been rough, so when we found out that this affordable gem was so much better than we had expected? HUGE RELIEF. The kitchen is amazing and the neighborhood divine. The wrap around enclosed porch is a perfect space to rest. One of the bedrooms had an uncomfortable mattress, but it wasn't bad enough to stop any of us from getting a good night's sleep.

The house was super clean, everything prepared and ready for us, very tidy, very welcoming. The neighborhood is easy to navigate through and you’re walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops. And, what is best, you’re a block away from the Saturday Street market. I highly recommend this property. This is my fourth stay.

We will be coming back. It's cuter and larger in person than the pictures look. So close to the farmers market and a little playground, plus just walk down the hill to Water St. And we loved the fireplace and seating arrangement.

Best Place For Family Ladies Weekend
Excellent house/location for our first annual ladies weekend. Kitchen and living room large and comfortable. 2 big bathrooms and 3 bedrooms were great. Wonderful location just up the hill from lots of shopping.

Perfect place for a family getaway over Christmas. There was plenty of room for 5 adults. The fireplace and room heaters kept us warm & cozy and the beds are especially comfortable. Loved all the small business shops in downtown Port Townsend and exploring nearby Fort Worden.

Lovely, spacious get away.
Very clean, well organized, convenient, close to town. Easy parking. friendly neighborhood. Right next to the Saturday market! Awesome, available, response host! We plan to return soon.

However, the large flat screen TV never worked, even after informing the property manager. Surprisingly, it appeared that the Roku had never been set up. Netflix was supposedly available, but we were never able to get it to work. There was a second, smaller TV in one of the bedrooms that only had cable channels we were able to watch.
The lighting in the kitchen was extremely poor. In addition, there was no light in either the refrigerator nor the oven, making it difficult to use the kitchen. Plus, we could not find a stopper for the sink, which made it difficult to wash large dishes. We did use the dishwasher, but it was too small to wash many items in.
It would have been helpful to have more information on site about how to work the appliances, TV, etc. The TV information provided seemed to be out of date.
The unit was very clean, and we enjoyed the area as we always do. The location can't be beat.

Decent, amusing adaptation of a 100+ year old house.
Not clear in the photos is that the three bedrooms all do indeed have privacy.
Lots of daylight with 22 windows. Sadly only two windows can be opened, though the apartment needs thorough ventilation. A walk-through "as seen on TV" screen on the kitchen door would be an asset.
Excellent location with short walks to historic uptown and to downtown.
