The beds were like clouds and the pillows were the best In alaska. They had everything you needed. The finishing touches were great for example blow dryer, full size coffee pot, makeup wipes and more. Beautiful paths to walk.

Wayne was a great host! We really appreciated that he allowed us to ship a few items ahead of our trip. The lake view from the cabin was phenomenal, and we loved the quiet solitude of the property. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

I loved this property so much - an absolute dream of a place. Everything about these cabins were special - from the lake, fire pit and the cabins themselves. I hope to return to this property as often as I can. Also - Wayne the host is incredible!

Extremely clean. Very quiet. Had refrigerator, stove and microwave. Heating unit was fabulous.

No TV Was further away from town than expected (12 miles)……but this cabin seems way nicer than places in town.

Overhead lighting provided no ambiance. Soap for shower was terrible. Could have had coffee available. Heater was a little hard to regulate temperature.

Impeccably clean cabins right on a tranquil lake in Talkeetna. Owner goes out of his way to ensure you have everything you need. Even supplies a few rowboats with life jackets to explore the lake so you can check out the beaver dam and local loons. Owner also has a mosquito magnet to help keep the pests at bay and even supplies bug spray in case you forget to bring your own (try not to forget bug spray in the summer months). Beds and pillows are extremely comfortable, tap water is hot upon demand in all showers/sinks and kitchen has a mini-fridge, microwave, oven, tea pot and coffee maker. Coffee, sugar, powder creamer as well as salt and pepper are supplied. Bring your own tea or cocoa if you are not a coffee drinker and water if you are not a fan of well water. Honestly, I have zero complaints about this place. Wayne (owner) was a pleasure to do business with and provided us with superb accommodations that is about 15 minutes away by car from the hustle and bustle of main street of Talkeetna (which is always lively in the summer months with ample quality food, fun activities, and shopping). Be sure to check out The Flying Squirrel, just a few minutes from the cabins and has such great breakfasts, lunch options and treats! Payo's Thai Kitchen is also nearby to the cabins is also a very tasty Thai, outdoor dining option. Love Talkeetna and these cabins tucked off a dirt road in this Alaskan paradise!

Just wish they had a water filter (like Bria) in fridge for those picky water drinkers like me and a variety of tea bags/ cocoa for the non-coffee drinkers. Other than that, I honestly, cannot think of anything else that the owners have yet to already provide. They really have outdone themselves offering such quality accommodations.

Inside of the cabin was excellent and felt almost new. The bathroom and the kitchen were sparkling clean. The outdoors were pristine. We took the boat out on the lake for a nice afternoon relaxation. We also grilled on the provided Weber grill outside. The experience was truly outstanding.

What’s not to like? It was perfect.

We stayed at the Hilltop Cabin, it is very well made and kept clean and neat. Grill was in working condition, keep in mind that you’ll need to bring your own charcoal and lightning fuel. There are lots of mosquitoes and bugs around the property - close the doors promptly so they don’t get in.

A quiet corner of the world that gave us (a family of four) an unforgettable day, long evening, and morning. A place where you can forget about anything in the other worlds (whatever and wherever they are) and become better. Thank-you.
