Location was perfect. The room was very clean and well maintained for a building that was completed in 1960's I believe. View one of the best I have ever had from any room I have stayed in. Cannot fault it and will be back at some stage.

The location was amazing and the reason we booked here. It’s just up the road from Rick Shores, next to the Burleigh Heads walking trail and a 5 min walk to shops and restaurants in the heart of Burleigh. We had a large balcony with a stunning view overlooking the sea and back onto Surfers Paradise.

while it is an older building, the decor didn’t have to be so ordinary. Apt 9 could benefit with some basic styling to make it more inviting. Nothing the amount of a 2 nights accom couldn’t easily fix. However the main issue is the demolition and construction of a new high rise being built literally on the other side of our bedrooms. Coming off the holiday period, jackhammers kicked off all day from 6.45am Monday morning. Being on the end and 3rd floor meant you were surrounded by the constant noise even over the roaring of the ocean. We caught the tail end of the demolition and start of build which will most certainly be a 12 month project.

You really cannot beat the location or the view. Apartment is really large too.

Location with a view, close to restaurants, cafes etc, parking (very tight garage, but ok). Nice clean and comfy beds. Enough seating indoors.

I had searched google maps street view, but since the last photos, a construction site has popped up where there was once a house. This made 7 am a very abrupt wake-up call with extreme noise and dust on the balcony. This meant we could only enjoy the view after the construction was done and had to wipe down the furniture before sitting on it. The kitchen was only passable with a tight squeeze for more than one person, and dishes, glasses, pots and pans had to be washed before use. The decor was extremely dated and looked sad. There were no fly screens on the windows and doors, so bugs were a problem. We wanted to enjoy the sea breeze but could not. The remote control for the second bedroom overhead ceiling fan/light was missing. Outdoor furniture was ratty. Washing machine was a bit iffy leaving unidentified fluff all over our clothes. The vacuum cleaner did not work. If we had booked direct to the building manager, we would have been given a better apartment according to the manager who checkedus out. This is unethical on the part of Booking.com to give us the worst apartment in the building (APT no 9) yet not offer some discount for the inconveniences we had to put up with. The 8 days at over $AU1900 was pretty steep for the state of the apartment.

Absolutely fantastic location with a great view. Short walk down Burleigh Hill into the town where there was everything we needed.
