The property was in a great position, really close to the centre of Keswick. The room was very clean and comfortable and the owners were attentive, helpful and friendly. Lovely breakfast too!

Very dog friendly - treats and bowls in the room. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Room and bathroom decorated to a high standard and exceptionally clean. Easy walk to the centre of town.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

If you want to walk in to the town perfect spot. Quiet. Rooms great, clean and tidy with tea making facilities. Breakfast was delicious. The place is spotless.

Parking not quite what you expect whilst it's available and free, it's actually on street parking and a bit of a game of chess jostling for a spot. I waited 20 mins after driving around a bit in stealth mode waiting for a space. When unloading luggage too it's a pain if your 2 streets down from the B&B that needs to be reflected by the owners. I have a dog but one thing I don't agree with is dogs in the dining room. Health and safety for me was an issue the owners having the front door latch taped down so you can't use it. At times if someone is coming in turned the key too far, guests cannot get out. The owners have to be notified to go outside and unlock it and let guests out. That is a fire hazard. Finally, upon arrival (I have stayed in many B&B) I wasn't through the door a minute and asked for payment. Took me by surprise at how quick I was asked, machine was out the pocket in a flash. That was extremely off putting. Literally under 1 minute from arrival. Would have been better for me to offload the car which I had spent 20 mins trying to find a spot, driven 2.5hrs to get there. Get sorted then paid. Not an issue paying day 1 (all other B&B ask on departure). It's the manner it was done. I bumped in to a fellow guest in the town and they said the same thing so wasn't just me. They are also not returning. Would I stay here again. No. Based on: it was 50/50 you get parked nearby it was a risk. The arrival and demand for payment "cash or card" straight away and the door locking scenario. If you are looking to spend your time in and around Keswick and not move your car, this is the place for you

Very clean, tidy and well- provisioned room. Literally 5 minute's walk to the centre of Keswick. Lovely breakfast with sufficient choice.

We are used to a large bed, so the standard double bed felt small to us.
