This property is stunning! We felt like we were in Old Savannah. The rental comes complete with linens, management at Lucky. Savannah was very responsive to the couple of little questions we had, it is within walking distance of everything, we had off street parking... I highly recommend this property to anyone who would like a getaway to Savannah.

Nice house and clean. But dishes out of dishwasher smelled terrible. Please clean dishwasher or upgrade soap. Pans in cabinet were dirty with dried egg. Gutters need to be cleaned as back steps are like shower when rains and there’s foliage growing in gutters. More towels without extra fee please I find that ridiculous. Plus if you want a clean kitchen back a couple dish towels wld be nice.

This was the perfect property for 2 couples to share. We were in town for a wedding in Savannah, but took advantage of the city and historical places as well. Lots of walking, but also convenient to have 2 parking places included. It was a convenient walk to parks, restaurants, historical venues and the riverfront.

This was a great place to stay. The property was well decorated in period style (except the remodeled kitchen and bathrooms). We enjoyed our stay at the property very much. It was close to everything we wanted to do (we didn't get to do it all so we'll have to come back again!) and we felt very safe there.
An added bonus that we didn't know about when we booked the trip was that this was the weekend of Wag-o-ween and we were excited to see so many dressed up doggos around the historic town and the squares.
The only things that really bothered us were the very loud exhaust fan in the en suite bathroom and the television downstairs that would not change channels - but then we decided we really didn't want to watch TV anyway.
Another suggestion is that for those evenings when we were wanting to stay in it would have been wonderful to have some games there (especially since the TV was stuck on the wrestling channel).

The property was in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood within walking distance to all of the wonderful things that give Savannah its charm(historic neighborhoods, city squares, museums, & the River street district). A recent fence upgrade made the parking just slightly confusing upon arrival but the management company answered the phone promptly. Cannot wait to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay in charming Savannah. The location is fantastic - charming and quiet square. Although the property comes with 2 parking spaces - we always found plenty of street property in the front of the home. Although listing says 6 people - sofa bed is on smallish side - so unless children are sleeping in the sofa bed, I would recommend only 5 adults stay at this property.

Gorgeous historic home in an amazing location. Very convenient to restaurants and places of interest.
Definitely some hiccups along the way- suggested guest portal app not updated so it wouldn't work on a newer phone, rental had not been cleared when we arrived so unable to take showers and adequately get ready for our dinner reservations, parking spaces not marked as described in emails, and only 8 towels provided for 4 people staying for 4 nights. All of these issues were dealt with quickly but still a bit of an inconvenience.
Would I stay here again? Yes. Lots of room, comfy beds, convenient location, and responsive management company.
I was a bit disappointed in the shared courtyard. It is charming but overgrown and in need of some TLC. However the grill looked relatively new and there was a table to enjoy a morning cup of coffee.

We moved into this apartment because the air conditioning in the place we rented was not working. It was quite beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and very welcoming. I enjoyed the books that were in many rooms that made me feel as though I was in the home of a friend. I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Chatham Manor was fabulous. We travel a lot and this was one of our favorite accommodations. It is beautifully decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. You feel like you are in a friend's home and not a rental property. It is perfectly located - far enough from the busy areas of town to be quiet but close enough to be within easy walking distance of everything. Having dedicated off-street parking is an extra bonus. We would give the property 6 stars if we could. We highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again in the future.

The house was in the perfect location for easy walking. The inside was very well decorated, all amenities provided, and the baths and kitchen were redone. The door locks were challenging so read the instructions carefully. Free parking was a real perk!

Everything, kitchen, appliances (all look brand new) furnishings, lighting, beds, bedding, bathrooms, excellent condition, nicely laid out floor plan whole place elegant look and feel. Easy distances walking to downtown, historic areas and Forsyth Park.
Outdoor plantings and gardening in poor shape, but that didn’t matter to our group, we enjoyed the courtyard with nice outdoor propane grill and tables, for eats and drinks ( we didn’t try the grill, looks nearly brand new). Reserved Parking was a breeze. Highest recommendation from our group.

Beautiful townhome in ideal location. Able to walk to many locations. Home has lovely courtyard and private parking in the back. House has lovely antiques, yet still comfortable. This antebellum home was comfortable, quiet, and convenient to everything we wanted to do. It was interesting staying in a place with so much history, plus all of the modern conveniences including plenty of towels, a well-stocked kitchen, etc. We especially appreciated the off-street reserved parking. On the downside, the back courtyard landscaping needed some serious attention, and we could have used a full-length mirror. There were also some steep stairs, but the blame for that goes to some architect back in 1855, so we'll let it go. Overall, a great value for the space and amenities!

Despite the very cold weather, we had a wonderful 5 days in Savannah in our home overlooking Chatham Square. It was everything you would think in an old brownstone, high ceilings, wood floors, etc., but was modernized with up to date kitchen appliances and bath accessories. The house was perfectly decorated with the best antiques in every room. Despite the period furnishings, the home was extremely comfortable and spacious. It was a great home base for a wonderful 5 days!

Our only complaints were related to the door locks/keypads. Maybe the batteries are low in the front keypad, but it could take us a couple tries to get it to recognize that we were pressing buttons to lock/unlock.
The lockbox on the gate was also difficult to open and close.

We found the location to be great. It was in a nice quite neighborhood. Easy walk to City Market and other areas of interest. Some of the furniture showed some wear but nothing alarming. We found many extra towels in one of the linen closets and had no problems with the wifi. An extra garbage bag or two would have been nice. Lucky Savannah was very prompt at responding to and resolving an issue with the freezer. Even bringing us a bag of ice. The only thing I'd do differently is to rent directly through Lucky Savannah to save paying the VRBO administration fees.

Email/app with login information, after two hours trying to log in to internet to work finally called office with about 8 phone calls back and forth including numerous texts, repairmen came out next day, tv's had no cable working( there were 3) broken commode had to send plumber twice, no lock on back door working (they said they though it was fixed), huge whole/gap under back door. went in person to office 3 days in a row, called on day 4-9 and emailed day 11 got a response!

Quick summary, looks can be deceiving. The stairs up to the property are dangerous; one could easily trip and fall and break an ankle. Most every piece of furniture was either stained or worn. Not a single comfortable seat in the living room. Cobwebs and dust bunnies everywhere. Back door wouldn't lock. Vents falling out of the ceiling. Peeling paint. Stained bedding. Queen-sized fitted sheet on king-sized bed. Cut-rate toiletries. No paper towels or napkins provided. Garden overgrown and paths in disrepair. No Smoking Policy even though there is evidence to the contrary (ashtray provided in courtyard). Mismatched light bulbs in chandeliers. So much for attention to details.Unhelpful, disorganized, and dare I say rude and snarky staff. From the beginning no question was ever answered directly (if answered at all) and always with attitude. So much for "Savannah hospitality."Property is well-located although.

The historic house is a beautiful mixture of tasteful, period decor and modern touches. While the bathrooms and kitchen have a modern flair, the rest of the decor matches the atmosphere of the historic surroundings. The property, even though on a square, is peaceful and quiet. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare and serve meals. It is located in the historic district and it is easy to walk from everywhere from the river district, to Forsyth Park and the Starland District. Some favorite local spots include the Crystal Beer Palace and Gallery Coffee House. A few suggestions would be to provide garbage bags, toiletry items, dish soap ect.. based upon the length of stay. For example, we booked for 5 nights and there was only one kitchen garbage bag. Another suggestion would be to have a broom to sweep off the steps that were often covered in wet leaves. Would we stay again? The answer would be a resounding, yes.
