Ein Top-Gästehaus in der ohnehin guten Kultur von privaten Unterkünften in Südafrika. Ein durch und durch gut gestaltetes Haus in ruhiger und sicherer Lage. Das Frühstück ist so hervorragend, dass sich selbst Luxuslodges der höchsten Kategorie ein Beispiel davon nehmen könnten. Restaurants für Mahlzeiten ausser dem Frühstückk sind in unmittelbarer Nähe ausreichend vorhanden.

everything was so nice

The architecture and design of this boutique hotel was exceptional and a refreshing change from the typical self-catering facilities typical to this part of South Africa. The natural setting and gardens made the experience truly serene as we saw a hornbill and countless other birds as well as warthogs and duiker from breakfast patio. The owners live on the property and checked in with us daily during the delicious breakfast to make sure we were comfortable. The hotel manager was also incredibly helpful with booking local tours and dinner reservations during the busy Christmas holiday. Our stay at Serene-estate was a wonderful holiday treat for our family.

Olga and Hand are great hosts we really enjoyed our stay and they gave us lots of hints and organized a boat tour for us on really short notice. The breakfast was extraordinary.
