Awesome location in central Dublin with best value for money around. The pub is a fantastic traditional pub so, for a night out in town, and a place to stay, you couldn't ask for more. Very comfortable bed, and very clean room. Just remember, this is a pub, it's not a hotel so if you want all the extra stuff of a hotel (and the cost) then probably not the place for you.

Check-in in the pub downstairs was smooth - even got my suitcase carried to the top floor (no lift). Expected it to be noisy on top of a pub, but it was very quiet.

Great stay at O’Donoghue’s. Fantastic location in Dublin for a really central stay. No issues whatsoever and everything was really clean! We were also pleasantly surprised to find two extra single beds in our double room so had plenty of space which was great. The room itself was a bit out dated in terms of decor but is in keeping with the pub. Bathroom seemed to be new and much more modern and had clearly been redone more recently. Really recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

Loved that it was above the pub, the rooms were spacious and clean, but felt cosy.

We loved everything and if we ever stay in Dublin again I would book O Dons.

Great vibe at this place. Regular live music is a huge bonus. Friendly staff. The location is perfect, especially for enjoying St Stephens Green and other local green spaces. A great place to stay in the heart of Dublin.

Location, location, location. This is my go-to spot when in Dublin. Rooms are spacious, beds are among the most comfortable I have ever slept in and the bathrooms have been newly renovated, with nice warm showers and plenty of good water pressure. This is in the best area of Dublin, near St. Stephen's Green, Grafton Street and the best pubs in Dublin, especially the one right downstairs, which bursts with traditional music seven nights a week!

Dublin is an expensive city for centrally located rooms it seems. Noise- but was not unexpected. It is above a busy pub.

The location is ideal, plenty of places nearby to eat, close to the airport bus and train stops. Room was a good size, bathroom was very clean. Shower had good pressure. Staff we interacted with were friendly. Although the rooms are part of the pub, there's a separate entrance to the rooms, so you don't have to get through a busy pub to get to your room. Would book again if back in Dublin.

Part of the charm of the place is that it's rooms connected to a pub, so it can be noisy until after closing. If you are an early bedder, it might not be for you.

Great location. Quiet in spite of very crowded, noisy bar below. Helpful, friendly "concierge".

It was very close to most attractions

The wifi. We lost the connection really often. I had to do some work at night and I couldn't always do it.

Central location was excellent. Room was a good size and he bed was large and comfortable.

Warm weather made top floor room very hot and windows hardly opened. Appreciated the secondary glazing for reducing traffic and revelry noise from street but it restricted the opening of windows. Bedside fan helped to cool room.

check out, was disastrous, as I needed to leave very early, but there was no one there and I was locked out of main pub , so had to wait for over half an hour.

The room was great, it was small but comfortable. The bed was really comfortable, the first night I didn't sleep that well, but I always have that problem in new beds, the rest of my stay I slept really good. I am a light sleeper, so I always travel with earbuds for sleeping. I do recommend you take them with you, because of the pub downstairs. But the noise wasn't bothering me. I really enjoyed my stay, thank you so much!

every morning you get new towels. This isn't a problem, but for me, it wasn't necessary. The bathroom has an inbuild fan system. This is great if you take hot showers, but it can be noisy. I didn't hear the knocking on the door from the housekeeping when I was in the bathroom. Luckily I had the bathroom door closed.

The location is great, the pub below is very nice.

We never felt safe during our stay. At check in we had someone trying to pick pocket us while another person filmed me paying for the room. This experience left us extremely fearful during our stay. The room itself was very dusty with hair on the bed. I would not stay again.

I must say that the standard was higher than in the photos! Clean and tidy, extremely comfortable beds, a modern bathroom, towels changed every day. And the location: in the very centre! Would never say a bad thing about O'Donoghue's and hope I can get back some day!
