Location is amazing. The pool and outdoor shower are very nice. The interior of the building is classical and give a good vibe. The owner is very friendly and we bought some nice homemade wine. Also the room had airconditioning, which was pleasant.

We loved our stay at Quinta da Azenha. It's quiet and casual, not a fancy spa but very comfortable and friendly. Everything was really good. The owners were friendly and accommodating. Our room was comfortable and with a good view over the river. Breakfast was excellent and the enclosed patio for dining was lovely and comfortable. The pool was fantastic with amazing views. We already have another stay booked here, and will probably stay here whenever we visit the Douro Valley.

Breakfast was amazing, family is lovely and caring and their port tastes lovely. Bonus: they have three cute little dogs!

We had a wonderful stay at Quinta da Azenha. It is located near the river and in a very quiet town. The hosts are very kind and welcoming. The breakfast is traditional and delicious.

Very nice host. Fantastic old stonehouse with original furniture. Beautiful view over Douro. In the mittel of the winefield. Good homemade wine. Close to the mainroad but 300 meter down a very narrow road. Don't worry - there is room enough for a normal car :-)

A comfortable place, friendly and accommodating hosts. The breakfast was superb, and we had our self made dinner picnic in the garden or the common living space.

The street leading to the place is very narrow and tight. You need to drive in with caution. There is no real supermarket near buy produce.

Beautiful and stylishly furnished farmhouse with a beautiful pool and direct view to the river Douro. Hosts were very friendly. On arrival we got a glass of delicious port wine from their own cultivation. Excellent breakfast in the patio with fresh fruit, delicious bread, cold cuts, cheese, homemade jam ... nothing was missing.

The pool is in the perfect position to enjoy the view on the wine scenery and relax on sunny days.

We stayed more than planned since everything was so nice. The pool, the location and the wonderful breakfast. WiFi was not strong enough at the pool and in the rooms, and as we are on a "workation" this was important for us, but we were not really expecting otherwise.

Amazing location, amazing view, amazing swimming pool, and really great people! Breakfeast was a feast, and we really loved the feeling there.

Breakfast was excellent, there were plenty of options both savory and sweet. The hosts were very nice and could communicate excellently with us even without speaking English, they let us try their homemade Porto wine. The rooms are clean and cozy, with a functional bathroom. The beds are relatively small but comfortable. For the price it's an exceptional hotel.

The stay has been exceptional with respect to everything. Our hosts Luisa and Domiao have made our stay an unforgettable event - and we are travelling a lot. The Quinta is an excellent place for hiking-tours in the area. By not more than about 20km one can reach different starting-points. But even from the Quinta itself one can start. The quinta is the home of Damiao and Luisa. What an absolutely charming and truly wonderful couple! We got along very well with them. For us the position of the property is ideal with lovely views over the Douro and easy access to the surrounding areas. They prepared an exceptional breakfast (coffee the best). It was a memorable two week stay and as we do not live too far away we hope to be visiting again late October. Keep up the good work Damiao and Luisa. You are real treasures!

Location is amazing with nice river view especially during sunset.

It is quite hard to find staff to ask something during day time. If you are just looking a good place to stay, it is good. If you are looking to have snacks, lunch, dinner etc you need to chase the staff. And the challenge is they only speak Spanish, Portugese and French.
