The location was spot on for Arena, bars and restaurants and only a 15-20min walk to the Bullring. The breakfast was fabulous.

All I can say is the bed was like laying on a slab of concrete, had zero sleep as it was just too hard. The fridge had to be tilted to open it as they had put it in a cupboard with a lip so the fridge door would t open freely. The tv, would have expected at least the on demand channels, no biscuits (I know not essential but come on!!!!)

On site parking. Lively location close to many bars and places to eat. Warm and comfortable room.

The bathroom is showing its age and will soon need a refit. The bad traffic congestion on the roads to reach the hotel.

The room was very nice, the hotel was centrally located and close to some lovely restaurants.

The tables/chairs in the bar downstairs could have done with some tlc.

Lovely hotel in a great location.

It was a very busy breakfast. Sometimes you were waiting for breakfast items to come out as food was gone so quickly. Staff worked hard though and it wasn’t too long a wait.

we didn’t have a clue it was cashless we had a lot of cash as given for our wedding so we were stuck we could not eat or have breakfast in. the hotel my husband needs to eat before medication .

Breakfast was very good. The best omelette i ever had made by Matthew. The staffs at the bar and breakfast were very efficient and attentive. The room was serviced well.

The AC in the room was not working. The room temperature was set AUTO at 23.8C. The first night was sleepless as the room was hot. Second night we thought my son fixed it but in the evening we came and noticed had the same problem, complained, and the night manger came and requested us to open the window but then we had noises from outside and he gave us a complementary breakfast. That was good but we did not sleep well. Then they gave us a fan. The third day they said we can change the room but cant be asked as we had lots of things/shopping in the room. My wife said I am not doing that. In the first place they should not have given us that room . I paid extra £13 per night to upgrade it. On the third night I informed at to the night manager and I went to the bar and he followed me and told the bar man " give this gentleman anything he want" I asked for large bottle of water and then he gave me 2 small. went upstairs and my wife said that is not enough for 2 as we get dehydrated because of the room temperature. I then called the reception for more water and they refused in a polite way. I was not looking for that reply. They should fully check the room before giving out. I am looking for a compensation from the hotel for ruining our stay and most important a "very good night sleep".

Very noisy air conditioning which could not be turned off - even turning the fan to Off made it noisier. Choice of firmer pillows would be nice. Room service food had far too much salt.

It was a good location with friendly staff who were really welcoming.

Room and bathroom was small, with a small bed. The air conditioning was always noisy and either too hot or too cold. There was even a sign in the room saying the Aircon fan is constantly running, so expect noise.

I’m afraid you had a terrible time with a burst pipe that weekend. The hall carpet was wet and on Sunday morning all hot water was lost.

Breakfast was excellent, very fresh food well cooked, very attention staff. Reception staff very pleasant and helpful. Room was very clean, beds comfy.

Evening meal in the restaurant was appalling, waited 35mins for starter even though only 8 people eating in the restaurant. Mock cocktails not as described or tasted as described waste of money. Main course arrived and not what was ordered I checked with waiter and he said "yes it is the curry you ordered" when I checked the menu it was actually the Mexican dish I'd been given. The waitress took the meal away and promised the correct meal would only be 5 minutes... when it arrived the poppadoms were burnt, the naan bread was rock hard and the curry was an oily liquid with little chicken in it, as we were having to leave to go to the theatre we had no choice but to leave the terrible meal my wife was given and she left the restaurant hungry.. in total we waited for an hour and 15 minutes for a meal that was inedible and ruined the evening. We we to the Hilton to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary with a night's stay and theatre show and left very disappointed and let down. The Queen room "with a view" was not as good as we expected and not worth the extra we paid to treat ourselves.

Great location and lovely buffet breakfast with lots of options

We booked a Queen room but only got a double and we’re told there was no alternative and we weren’t offered anything as recompense. Twice our room wasn’t made up properly - once the beds weren’t made and another time the tea, coffee and milk weren’t replaced. Our bedside light and wardrobe light were both not working. We were brought a desk lamp (entirely unsuitable as it didn’t fit next to the bed), as a replacement.

It was right in the centre of where we going out. Lovely room with great facilities and the breakfast was the best value for money.

The only fault was that the air conditioning/heating was noisy but I still slept well

Excellent hotel, clean and well kept. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room and facilities were good. Location to city cntre and venues is perfect. Highly recommend.

Hotel was very good

The beds were too firm for our preference and we had to request a second at towel on day 2 after it was not replaced by cleaning team.

Location for concert was excellent, good breakfast, lots of choice and good quality.

Really bad damp smell in bathroom

Breakfast food was excellent. One minor issue is waiting for a fried egg to be cooked resulting in the rest of the selected food cooling down. Also the toaster doesn't quite toast the bread enough on one pass. If you put it through a second time it burns the bread so I think the setting just needs to increase slightly.
