The car park is extremely tight and hard to locate

Clean, good location
Issue with my door but staff were very helpful with this
10.0
Everything , staff were very accommodating, spotlessly clean, perfect location, beautiful breakfast
My only thumbs down would be for car parking, being a blue badge holder would have liked parking as it really was a struggle from the car park 8 mins walk away which actually took me 20 mins 😢

Location. Staff were great.
The shower didn’t work. It was stuck on full beat and no way of turning the heat down. AC didn’t work.

Location great for our purpose, staff polite and helpful
There could have been clearer signs in the free from section at breakfast to explain allergies. Pool was closed for maintenance

Hotel located in a great location. 5 minute walk to the centre of town, 5 minute walk to the train station, 10 minute walk to the river Thames.
Rooms were spacious and bed was comfy. We had a room to the rear of the hotel so very quiet. Very large TV, coffee making and mini fridge.
Was there for 4 nights so made the most of the pool, steam room and sauna. Can get quite busy so plan your times.
Reception was open plan and inviting with friendly staff. The bar was well stocked if you fancied a before bed drink or night cap.
My only gripe was how to get to the hotel parking. The rear road to it had been closed by building work and looks that way for a few months to come. On asking site security they told me to go down friar street and turn down the at the lights, which we did not knowing it was restricted access for buses and taxis. Luck for us we went through in open hours of 11am to 4pm else a hefty fine would be in the post
For the last night we parked the car at Broad Street Mall Car Park which although was a short walk to the hotel was £11 cheaper once you had your ticket stamped by the hotel

Clean & comfortable rooms with great shower.
Lack of close parking and building site to rear which was awkward to get our bags etc in to the hotel.

It had everything we needed for our stay, and was close proximity to we’re we wanted to be.
Nothing everything was fine

Location, food and staff
Swimming pool wasn’t available.

It was clean enough
I emailed to ask to reserve parking and no one bothered to get back to me. My partner had to park a few streets away and walk in the rain while I checked in with the kids. Only half the pool was available due to “lessons”, although no one had a lesson while we were there.

We have been confirmed to receive a cot for out baby, but it wasn’t provided and our night was very unsettling and our trip basically ruined

The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the facilities in the hotel were good
I had walked down to reception and asked if they had any water or if we would get any bottled water to drink that they had previously supplied in the room. The receptionist told us to simply go and drink the water out of the tap in our bathroom and that she didn’t have any bottles. I was very shocked to have been told to drink water from my bathroom instead of being helped with a normal glass of water. My partner had to go out in the town to try find us some bottled water as it was about 11pm. The carpets in the hotel room were also dirty . We was also staying for a birhday , I had rang the hotel previous to our stay and asked if they offered any celebration offers for a birhday, they had said they could leave a plate of chocolate in the room and that they would make sure we got this. We did not receive this plate of goodies

Breakfast and location good (apart from dirty plates/mugs!) but that’s about it
Rooms need updating and carpets dirty. DO NOT EAT IN THE RESTAURANT. Very poor quality food, we ordered pizzas to share and they were disgusting (pizza base topped with tinned tomatoes and whole slices of raw garlic which resulted in a soggy mush!) no way that a trained chef would serve that. After complaining to the supervisor I still had to pay for food we couldn’t even eat as he said he ‘couldn’t afford’ to take it off the bill!! Had to give up and pay in the end as I had two over tired, hungry children to get to bed. Ruined my sons birthday evening, I wish we had gone somewhere else to eat but thought this would be easier than dragging the children outside the hotel. Breakfast was ok but we had to search for clean plates and cups as they were not cleaned properly (crusty bits of food and grease left on them) overall, wouldn’t stay again.

The staff was excellent and so was the breakfast and restaurant. We also enjoyed the pool, gym, steam and sauna rooms.
Wished the kids had a few activities they could have done at the hotel. Maybe a few colouring books to start.

The room and facilities are very clean. The staff are warm and friendly, specially the receptionist Racquel and Marissa. They go beyond what is expected. I like the late check out of the hotel if necessary.
The chairs in the pool area are only 3. They need to add more so other guest can sit and relax while waiting for their family members when swimming.

Excellent location, short walk from railway station. Gym is well equipped with free weights and cardio. Super friendly staff.
