the view was spectacular, bed comfortable.

the room needs some updating, bathroom also needs some attention, there wasn't a heater, the tv cables were broken. the whole complex needs some maintenance. It has the makings of a huge tourist attraction with the scenery and natural surroundings. Some attention to details. The Restaurant and bar needs an overhaul of the menu. When you have great food it attracts people. It should be humming with tourists.

Location, warmth, parking.

No cutlery nor crockery. Seemed strange there was a toaster but no knives, no plates, nothing to wash the dishes with…

The towel was not cleaned

The location, directly across the lake is spectacular.

We travelled with three teenage kids and a couple. We had two rooms. The grownups room had a stunning aspect just across from the lake but the bathroom was filthy. The relatively new shower had mold and soap scum and there was built up grime in the corners of the room. The kids had a triple room right up the back of the complex. Clearly these rooms are set to be demolished or something. They stunk of mustiness and were accessed down a filthy outdoor corridor that was covered in detritus from the garden. We asked for a new room but we’re advised that the other triple room smelled worse! A walk around the once beautiful grounds and you can see the owners must be planning something else for the property. The gardens are unkept and there is no effort to protect their reputation. We would have been fine with it if we had been warned and the room was appropriately priced for what it was. We met others there who had booked because the motel offered bbq facilities (this is still on booking.com). There are no bbqs. The owners need to be honest about what they are providing and learn how to clean bathrooms. Staff were nice however, the pup food was fine and as I said the view is amazing. Thanks.

The towel for bath is very small . Seems to be given for small people like chanese . Cutlery are very limited . Matress comfort was not great . After 5 PM , no one at reception where as it is mentioned as 24 x 7 service . Shower curtain is too bad . No mechanical ventilation for shower and toilet .

The only good thing about the place wad the view of the lake on the other side of the road.

For the high rate we were charged the room was very small and dark. The bathroom was disgusting with very badly stained bath, mould on the bath surround and the shower curtain was crumpled and mouldy. After complaining we were given a slightly bigger but not much cleaner unit. Along the front of the unit outside was littered with dozens of cigarette buttons, can tabs and other rubbish and dirt and obviously had not been swept for many months. The exterior of the entire motor inn was in a poor condition with rotting fascia boards and needing a paint. The car park also was in a poor state of repair with large areas of seal lifted creating many large potholes and management obviously don't know the meaning of maintenance. Also the photos shown online are a very false representation of what you get. I also note the advertised photo of the exterior has been taken at night, I wonder why.

The view was great

The bathroom and floor were not clean. For the price we paid it was very average. The noise from other rooms kept us awake. Not great.
