We loved the location, loads of room in the room and the bed was comfortable.

When we arrived we were whisked away to the executive branch to get checked in, when we got to the room we waited for 40min before getting our bags which delayed and impacted our evening. Lack of communication from the executive lounge to the actual reception. Then as we were delayed we decided to order room service off their online platform but after an hour and a half of waiting we got a call to say they never got the order. Estimated wait for room service was 30min-1hr. We got the order within 30min, some parts were cold. Not overly impressed as we had been waiting so long and just off a flight. We didn’t get any compensation which I feel was warranted after 2 hours of waiting. The executive lounge has its own breakfast, I wouldn’t bother and just go downstairs. We went to the rooftop bar for cocktails, our cocktails we ordered weren’t professionally made and lacked style and substance so we left and went back to the room after one drink.

El hotel en rasgos generales esta bien, esta limpio, habitación espaciosa, muy buena piscina y personal amable. El restaurante esta bien, el desayuno bueno normalito. Personal atento y cariñoso, cuando vienes en taxi revisan el coche por si te has dejado algo, te preguntan siempre a donde vas te ofrecen un tuc-tuc del hotel gratis hasta la estación y tienen una hora gratis de 16.00h a 17.00h de postres de chocolate todos los días como cortesía del hotel yo no he llegado a probarlo nunca pero hablaba bien de ello. Andanto a 800 m tienes un centro comercial con cambio de dinero, restaurantes y el metro. CALIDAD PRECIO MUY BUENA.

El acceso al hotel hay que callejear un poco y hay tramos sin acera con bastante trafico, pero esta céntrico y bien comunicado.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Movenpick Hotel Sukhumvit. The staff could not have been friendlier and more accommodating, the bed was very comfortable and the room large enough to comfortably house 2 friends on a girls’ weekend stay in Bangkok. We loved enjoying our Aperol Spritzes in the pool, generously served in big plastic wine shaped glasses, and greatly appreciated the generous spread of deserts offered at the complementary daily “Chocolate Happy Hour”. We would definitely stay with them again.

There was honestly nothing glaringly wrong with our stay, but if I were to be super picky, I did notice a small hole in one of our room’s provided bath robes, and wished there was a bit more variety of Western cuisine offered at the breakfast buffet. Other than that, our stay was flawless.
