Wonderful location, such pretty views into the valley. The free minibus shuttle to Soldeu lift was an unexpected bonus. Would definitely go back to ski in Grandvalira, and this area is so nice to stay (compared to Pas de la Casa). Radiators worked well so it was easy to get skiwear dry overnight (and heating easy to programme), and there were boot trays to keep boots off the parquet floor. Plenty of hangers and wardrobe space. Nicely decorated apartment. Three little restaurants just at the bottom of the road (can recommend the first one which we ate in one night), and it's only 10-15 mins walk up hill to reach more choice in Soldeu centre. Recommend Caprabo supermarket in Canillo 10 mins down the road (but avoid the after-ski traffic jams!) for stocking up on groceries, more choice and better value than the two shops in Soldeu.

Shame there wasn't a little dishwasher squeezed in somehow! Not much room for putting your non-refrigerated groceries, so the kitchen corner felt a bit messy. Nowhere to store skis, so we just let them drip dry on the balcony and then brought them into the apartment overnight.
