The location is very good and the staff is very helpful. They organized a whale watching tour for us.

The room was spacious and clean and the location was excellent! Just aside from the main road that you cant hear the traffic! Owner was friendly and welcoming!

There was little bit of mosquitos and insects in the room but it didnt bother us too much! It is what it is sometimes!

Ideal location for beach, restaurants etc. clean and lots of red hot water which was nice! Room had A/C which I note some other reviewers say was lacking - think you have to book an A/C room, overall was happy enough given the price I paid.

Unlike many other places the host wasn’t really around much to help with enquiries etc.

Gute Lage. Gleich an der Hauptstraße aber in einem Innenhof wodurch es ruhig ist. Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet und nette Besitzer.

Although we met the a lot of friendly Sri Lankan people, this host is the most friendly one we met. He will do anything to make your stay even better than it already is and he will do so with a smile! Also this location is amazing, just one minute walk of the beach with al it’s nice restaurants as well. And it’s located perfectly in the city centre of Mirissa without having a lot of noise in your apartment. And we could park the tuktuk safely. The stay here was so amazing we extended twice, because there is just so much to do (Parrot Rock, Cocconut Hill, Snorkling, Surfing in Weligama, etc.) in the area and this location provides the perfect base.

Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Vor allem das geräumige Zimmer und der dazugehörige große Balkon. Die Lage und der Gastgeber sind ebenfalls super! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Können das Soorya Guest Mirissa auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Close to the beach

A very basic accommodation that needs a lot of work. Not as expected or described. 'city view' consisted of a building site. The handrail up to the rooms was about to fall off and extremely unsafe. The area surrounding the building the rooms are in was disguising and full of litter/old house hold items. There were facilities specified that were not supplied i.e toiletries - we got one small hand soap. Definitely not worth the money, especially considering we paid less for more in other areas of Sri Lanka - even more busy areas. Would not stay again.
