The room was clean

The hotel is basically a hotel that is part of a hospital. This was initially not clear as we booked it. So in terms of location and atmosphere, it was not the best. Also, we arrived early and asked if the room was ready, this was indeed the case but it would cost us 200 NOK to check in early (2h early). This is not really customer friendly behaviour, especially since the room was already ready. Also, my pillow smelled a bit bad, which tends me to believe these are not washed properly.

Overal a nice and clean place to stay. The room were spacious and the wifi was good. The room itself had a kitchen so if you want you can cook or warm up some food.

The location it self is a bit boring to have a nice evening walk. There is a shop close by. I also found several restaurants in walking distance in case you need food.

Hostel was cheap, clean, and simply good price/quality ratio. Check-in was easy and there was a parking nearby. I would go again for that price if the issues we encountered doesn't happen again.

Issues that we ran into: 1. There was a fire alarm at 7:30 which was on and off for an hour. I don't know if it was a fault of some resident or the hostel alarm system but it was defeaning at times. 2. Sing was leaking water at the floor

The location was close to multiple grocery stores and a couple places to eat. I liked the combo locked doors as well that required a code to get in.

The advertisement said there was air conditioning. That is false. Opening a window is not air conditioning which was the only way to cool down the room which only happened at night and not very well. The bed was very uncomfortable. It felt like I was sleeping on the ground. In the middle of the first night I took the pad off the pullout bed and placed it on top of the pad on my bed. It helped a little but not much. The second night I used the spare duvet to place under both pads on my bed in the center of the pads. This helped and made it possible to sleep decently.

Nice hostel. Modern equipment, clean. Good location for hiking the pulpit rock. Just 20min drive by car.

There is no stuff, everything is automatic. Feeld a bit odd.
