Perfect view of the river and city, clean room, large comfy bed and the breakfast was incredible. Easy to get parked and get to our room. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Be clearer on the website about what is classed as a city view.

Position and views

Looks very tired. On arrival we were sent to an occupied room. No towels at the pool. Our request for twin beds wasn’t met. Everything including the service was tired

The musty smell in the rooms (appears to be air con related).

There was a horrible smell as you enter the room. The room was outdated and run down. The bathroom shower was mouldy, the toilet seat was peeling and stained. I jumped in the shower assuming I had a towel to dry myself but there was no towels in the room and had to call to have some sent up. I could smell urine all night and when I inspected the bed it had a big yellow stain. I called and told staff and asked to have bedding changed but returned a few hours later and they had just made the bed with the same bedding. Called and complained and was moved to another room.

The fantastic location and view of the Story bridge. It is an easy walk to nearby bars and restaurants and a pleasant walk into the CBD.

The room smell, it smelt like musty air conditioning and when we returned and had a different room it smelt the same too.

I specifically required accommodation that had separate bedrooms, so we were given a self-contained apartment that included a small kitchenette and a bathroom with washing machine included. The room had a separate upstairs loft area with 2 single beds, and a master bedroom downstairs with queen bed. The bathroom included toiletries and washing powder. The location is right near the Story Bridge and on the outskirts of the CBD and just down the road are the Howard Smith Wharves with eateries and bars. The apartment was a good size and would suit a small family, or people travelling with friends. The service by the reception staff was friendly.

The location of the hotel is up the top of a rather steep hill, so be prepared to go up and down that hill if you're exploring the neighbouring area. The self contained apartment we were given had a weird design that required me to move the queen size bed in order to close the doors to the master bedroom. The shower over bath is on the small side and can be tricky to get into and out of due to the fold out panel. As we only stayed the one night we did not make full use of all the facilities included in the room or hotel.

Great location close to bars, restaurants and Ferry terminals. Room was basic and clean good value for money. Breakfast was great on the roof bar.

Didn’t get the view of the bridge which was advertised. There was mould in the shower room, and around aircon vents. The bed (two singles put together) was not ideal as you fell between the crack.

The hotel has “no parking” you must pay $45 per night, so outrageous but the evevators go directly into the hotel from the carkpark so it doesn’t make sense how it is no on site parking. Just a rip off

The booking didn’t come through properly. So our rooms were split up and we were delayed getting one of them by two hours

Apartment was good size, and had everything one would need, including washing machine and dryer. The kitchen only came with one saucepan and one large bowl though - no other cooking equipment, however this was quickly rectified on request. Customer service from Reception staff was excellent. Location was OK in being very close to the river walk, restaurants etc, except steep climb up from the wharf to the entrance could be a problem for the less agile.

Was disappointed that the apartment was part of a dual key set up with motel room next door sharing a main entry. People tend to slam doors which made it a bit noisy at times. My own fault for not checking I suppose. Also although the view of the river is great, it is so close to the Story Bridge that traffic noise is constant meaning you cannot leave the balcony doors open.

The only issue was the vent for air con over bathroom door in double room was rattling through the night.

The location of this hotel right on the river is excellent. The room was so spacious and the view over the Brisbane River was just beautiful. So close to the major attractions around Brisbane and an easy walk to shops and supermarkets.
