Close enogh to the village stores to easily walk but away from the crowds and construction.

The dryer in the laundry room didn't work but it may have been our error as instructions in German.

Amazing place. Great location. The view is amazing. Close to the river. The rooms were fine and exactly how you'd expected them to be. They were very clean. The staff was friendly and gave us great suggestions. They had small market on place and offered everything you need (supplies, food, coffee, etc.). Even if there is a shared bathroom for several rooms, everything was very clean. We traveled to Germany and a bit of Switzerland with our teenage boys, and this was their favorite stay so far.

I’ve stayed here multiple times and love it everytime. We stayed in a fox cabin and that was in such a nice spot along a little stream with a deck that we used daily for meals. Good sized room, and with the windows open we got plenty of air flow so the fact that there was no air con was fine in summer. Clean, comfortable and the bathrooms were great too and always available when we needed them. Where else can you stay with views of a waterfall!!

It was located at the edge of Lauterbrunnen meaning it was pretty quiet. The cabins and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable, and the staff were super helpful. There’s a shop, restaurant, bar, kitchen, and lounge area. Check in and check out went smoothly and they even let you exchange currencies. Everything is within walking distance and you’re surrounded by gorgeous views of the Swiss alpine mountains and waterfalls. The cabins are super nice and cozy, perfect for sitting outside and reading while listening to nature.

The one minor downside is that you have to pay to use the stoves in the kitchens (1 CHF = 10 mins), but the shop and bar are more than happy to give you change if you bring them larger coins/bills. It is also about a 15 minute walk to the train station, which can be strenuous if you have a lot of luggage. Everything else was perfect, though!
