The hotel is right in the center among countless of restaurants and very close to the T1 tram station. Leaving aside the fact that on the day of arrival we happened to be during some demonstrations and the entire transport system was stopped, The hotel staff went out of their way to help us get to them, considering that the taxi left us about 4 km away , not being allowed to enter that area. So we had to walk and Mr. Numan, sent from the hotel, struggled to carry the super heavy suitcase on the floor without complaining. I had a Family Room, on the 6th floor, with street view and balcony, spacious, with comfortable beds.
I have nothing but words of praise for the cleanliness of the hotel, the breakfast service and the interaction with the customers.

We liked the Nowy Efendi hotel very much. Every facility of this hotel was excellent. The hotel staff were cheerful, smiling, friendly and disciplined. The breakfast was also tasty, delicious and very good. 👍🙏

Excellent location (close to the main tourist attractions in Sultanahmet), lots of cafes and restaurants nearby, friendly and helpful staff, decent selection of breakfast items. Sultanahmet tram/metro station is only a few mins walk from the hotel.
Rooms were a bit too small, so you do feel suffocated if you stay inside for too long. If you have medium or big size suitcases/luggage, you'll struggle to walk around freely in the room.

Staff - checkin day was not professional, staff at checkout date was excellent. Small TV and had difficulty operating, light fixture over bed broken, shower door doesnt close (reported but no response).

I had a cosy room with a balcony. Everything was clean. The breakfast was delicious and the cooks were so kind and hospitable. The cafe had a nice view too!
Room could have been bigger but it was not a big deal as I was there for a short time.

Very friendly, helpful staff, good location, nice modern decor, nice dining area, good choice of breakfast. Walking distance to Blue Masjid, Hagia Sophia Masjid, Grand Bazaar, metro nearby, very clean.
The first room they gave us we were very disappointed. Bad decor and small. We explained what we were expecting and they changed the room for us. The stay after that was good.

The Nowy Efendi staff were extremely helpful, and the hotel itself is in a great area. Local restaurants are easy to get to, and there's no end of options. The Hagia Sophia is less than 5 minutes walk away, as are many great locations.
The coffee and tea in the room are one-use only, as is the single complementary water bottle provided - we ended up going to the nearest corner shop and buying a pack of water bottles for much cheaper.
The toilet does not allow you to flush paper, but that's common in Turkey.
