Told someone would meet us to hand over key. On the day we were directed to a lock box at a different location to collect key. All this while carrying luggage in 32 degrees heat. Lift did not work and apartment on 4th floor.

Nice and spacious apartment.

The showers are really bad, ice cold water or boiling hot, nothing in between. Parking is not at the apartment itself.

The lift broke down and we were trapped in it for 20 minutes. We reserved two car parking spaces but only one was available

Huge, spacious 3br/2ba penthouse apartment with sweeping views of the Atlantic and Alameda Apodaca. Very comfortable queen bed in the 2nd bedroom, lovely kitchen with utensils and pots and pans and even paper towels. Parking was a nice perk since we came by car, although we never took it out of the garage until it was time to leave Cádiz ;) Great central heating (and air conditioning) system that's controlled by zones. Superb central location yet super quiet.

When we arrived the heat was off and it was 13C in the apartment -- the agency could have AT LEAST turned the heat on a few hours before our arrival (especially since we told them our arrival time 3 days in advance!). What's more -- the system was set on Eco mode, which restricts the range of temps and the flow of hot air -- thanks to 2 engineers among us we figured out how to turn that "feature" off and the apartment quickly heated up to a very comfy 22C ;) Even though you get a private garage (separate entrance controlled by a gate via a remote), thee agency rep will also try to get to you to park in an impossibly small "space" behind a column next to the actual parking space, saying that the landlord prefers to keep the main spot open -- I refused to do so and parked in the main spot, and I suggest other guests do the same. Final note: the master bedroom faces Alameda Apodaca which has car/city bus/scooter traffic 24/7 -- there were 3 of us so we just used the other 2 bedrooms facing the courtyard, and it wasn't an issue, but keep in mind that the master bedroom and a second bedroom have a queen size bed, but the third bedroom has 2 twin size beds with *very* hard mattresses. Wasn't an issue for us, but you should be aware. Other than these 3 things, it was a great stay!

Great location. Very hospitable host. Wine and chocolates a nice touch!
