My sisters and I really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. Having grown up on a farm, it was refreshing to again be surrounded by fields and livestock. Peaceful and serene. Rose and Amos were wonderful (sorry, Amos, that we had to ask you to jump my sister's car battery!) without being intrusive. This place was very near all of the usual tourist attractions with great food everywhere! The apartment was very clean and neat, and offered plenty of space for the 3 of us. Thank you, Rose and Amos. We would gladly stay here again if in the area.

A really great place to stay! We had fun exploring and looking at the animals. The beds were very comfortable and I loved the big bath towels. Bring bug spray if you’re visiting in the summer because the mosquitos were out in full force. My son (5) loved the kids toys and puzzles. It’s a short drive to all the Lancaster attractions and very close to Miller’s. Would definitely stay again.

Location was excellent - close to other attractions, in the midst of the Amish culture. Large farm operation managed by Amos, Rose and 2 of their children provided insight into the work ethic of the Amish. Hosts were friendly and approachable, living in the adjoining home. Would recommend for anyone wanting an Amish adventure.

I've been visiting Rose's guest house every year since 2016. This home is comfortable for groups of 5-6 people and is perfect for our annual Lancaster shopping trips. Rose is so kind and accommodating and the farm is beautiful and peaceful to visit. My family enjoyed the trip again this year and we felt so at home during our stay.

Our stay here was wonderful. The home was impeccably cleaned, stocked with amenities and came with an amazing view of the farm and countryside. Rose, our host came by and introduced herself and offered additional assistance if we needed it. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked for next year. This is a 5 star, would definitely recommend if your looking for a peaceful, comfortable place to call home, while visiting the beautiful Lancaster countryside.

Our stay in Rose’s VRBO was wonderful. The house was just perfect for our girls’s trip. Rose was friendly and helpful.

This location and property is terrific. We really liked being near the activities that we wanted to do. It was safe to send the kids out to play in the backyard and we enjoyed sitting out there in the evening. The place came with many accommodations to hold you over if you forgot something or haven't run to the store yet. The hosts were very friendly and we enjoyed talking to them and asking about their farm but they also provided us with privacy. This place is a real farm with farm sounds and smells as an FYI if you're not used to that. It was neat to observe all the surrounding farms and happenings.

Our family enjoyed our stay and the atmosphere was so relaxing. From the beautiful fields to the hot air balloons flying in the distance. The sun peaking through the windows in the morning to the camp fire s'mores that we had at night. We could not have asked for a better place. We are hoping to return to this area in the future and you better believe we are going to stay here again!!!

This place is very clean, beautifully decorated, and has amazing views of Amish farmland and animals. The hosts live next door and are handily available if needed. We lost power one day early evening because of the weather and Rose came to check on us and said she has some extra candle lights to use if needed. Thankfully, it only lasted an hour and a half. The last day when we were planning to leave, the car wouldn’t start. Amos brought his truck and jumpstarted it. We had tickets for a show at the Bird in Hand restaurant and he even told us if the car wouldn’t start after the show, he'd be happy to come and help us again since it was closeby. We were very thankful for him going above and beyond since we are 3 sisters and didn’t know what we were going to do. Thank you Amos and Rose. You will love this place!

What a wonderful location! You are ten to fifteen minutes from anything you could possibly want to do or see. The hosts are amazing and the house has everything you could want or need. You will experience lots of peace and quiet and lovely views outside. Don't miss the pretzels at one of the local markets, lunch at Diener's Restaurant, and a sunset over the farm. The host checks in with you and provides any suggestions you may want for food and entertainment. We can't wait to go back again. In fact... it was hard to leave!

A wonderful and peaceful respite in close proximity to everything Strasburg and Lancaster have to offer. We all enjoyed room to relax both inside and outside! Thank you Rose and Amos!

We have come to the area for the past 9 years, and this is far and away the cleanest property we have stayed at. My wife and daughter loved the views, and seeing animals out the windows. The house was decorated nicely and had everything we needed to get through the week. Rose was supper accommodating, checking in with us periodically to see if we needed anything. Proximity to all area attractions was great. This is a great place and we will certainly be back!!
