We only spend one night at Hostal Puerta Roja but were very happy with our stay. The room is very modern, the bed super comfy and the shower is a bliss. The hosts Antonio & his wife are super friendly and even helped us print our ferry tickets - much appreciated! We were also able to leave our luggage at the house after check out and use the common areas before continuing our travel, which was great. Thanks for everything!

Very nice property, very nice and cosy common areas, well located, close to restaurants yet in a quiet neighborhood.
The bathroom sink faucet was not fixed properly and sits much to close to the sink. We had to hold it every time we turned the water on to hopefully not get splashed (which often didn't work).
The breakfast was very deceiving. Could put put an assortment of cheeses and boiled eggs for variety.

Clean and very nice property. Our room was cozy and pretty. We enjoyed breakfast in the morning and the easy access via code that was sent over before our arrival.
A little bit of a walk from town center, but for us this was worth it for the value.

Paper thin walls and our room had a window that opened to a common area so we heard everything and everyone could hear everything we did/said. It wasn't horrible, but we weren't expecting it when we booked.

No quarto em que fiquei achei a cama, os travesseiros, a roupa de cama e banho e o chuveiro excelentes. O quarto era muito bom, o hotel charmoso, adorei a saleta etc…

Schön sauber, kleines gemütliches hotel
Die zimmertüren sind leider alle undicht alles ist zu hören, wenn um 6uhr früh das frühstück vorbereitet wurde haben wir alles gehört.
Also ausschlafen das kann man sich abschminken.

No es un "boutique"; es una hostal de dos a tres estrellas, limpia, con buena cama, pero poco más. Hay poco espacio, el desayuno esmuy pobre. La puntuación que se le dio llevaba a pensar que era mejor que los hoteles en la zona, y está lejos de serlo.

The rooms & bathrooms have all been recently remodeled and the beds were so comfortable! Charming Home style atmosphere. Very Quiet - not on a busy street like other hotels in town. They had some great info & recommendations of things to do in the area and we were able to confirm a zodiac dolphin boat quickly with Aguas Fresca Tours for that same day!
A little better sidewalk/entrance street lighting. We got in very late and it was hard to see to code ourselves in.
