Has laundry machine and dryer. Staff was very lovely. Bnot a posh hotel but got all we needed.

Location wise not the best but close to a famous cafe. 5 mins drive into town

not much to hate about these three bedroom villas

parking for the bigger vehicles is not idea only 3 or so parks in the visitors area as you can’t manurer in under neath the car parks near the rooms. But this is minor.

The property is very tired and indeed needs a pick me up ( understand there is staff shortages) not so clean were floors in the rooms. There were left over coffee cups on our window outside ( not left by us) for the duration of our stay. Fans in rooms were either blowing your head off or very slow. The fridge and dishwasher needed a really good clean ice cubes left in the fridge were brown. clothes dryer broken front panel making it hard to dry towels. ☹️

We stayed in the two bedroom Apartment 18 on ground floor in the corner. Had difficulty parking our Landcruiser in the corner due to insufficient clearance from the post on the left and bushes on the right. The mouldy smell was an immediate turn off as we opened the door. Only one split system for the lounge for the whole two bedroom apartment, fans in bedrooms and lounge room but still not cool enough. I put the jug on to make a cup of tea and no cups in cupboard, opened the dishwasher and it smelled bad, was full of unwashed dishes. I turned on the dishwasher three times to wash them but it isn’t washing the dishes, the powder is still in the bottom and dishes have food caked on them. The cutlery baskets have rotting food hanging off them and the food trap was full of old rotting food. Walked into the toilet and was greeted with the smell of strong urine, no doubt has run under the toilet seat rim and down the bowl into the tile grout. The toilet has a brown scum inside the bowl and on top of the water line, there was no toilet sanitiser to clean the bowl or disinfectant to clean the filthy unhygienic urine in the floor grout, otherwise I would have cleaned it. The clothes dryer lint filter was so full the lint was built up outside it, giving potential for fire. The furniture is tired looking, damaged, stained. The unit could use a re-vamp. We waited around a while in reception to return the key personally to let the manager know the unit isn’t being cleaned properly, no one was around to take the key. The apartments could be really nice and comfortable if it was cleaned properly and had a little upgrade. Hope this review brings attention to hygiene and cleanliness and this improves.

Close to Airlie Beach

The cleanliness of the rooms was disgusting. There were holes in the walls and the floor was disgusting and clearly has never been mopped. We ended up buying our own cutlery/plates because the cleanliness of thr room was honestly disgusting. The general maintenance and cleanliness of the walls and room has not been maintained (hole in the toilet wall, crack along the roof ceiling)

We stayed in one of the renovated rooms and it was lovely - heaps of room, beds were comfy and other than the flood not being mopped(it was vaccumed) it was pretty much perfect 👌

The floor wasn't mopped so there was stuff on the floor and your feet got dirty after walking barefoot but other than that there wasn't anything I didn't like 😀 I will add that we stayed in a fantastic room but we travelled for a footy carnival and had 4 other families stay here too and the other rooms weren't as nice - no aircons in the bedrooms, one had a couch they found dirty. So really make sure you ask for a renovated room(ours was unit 3) or my review of 8 won't be applicable 😉

Everything seemed clean and neat except for the coffee mugs, they needed cleaning prior to using. Everything else was great.

Pretty well located - not Airlie Beach proper but not too far

The rooms were particularly DIRTY especially the toilets - black stains in them - looks like the cleaners had not herd of toilet cleaners and bleach. The light fittings have not been cleaned in 1000 years and generally - yuck. They also need to look at creature comforts - no bedside lamps. The beds are on roller wheels and skate all over the room - just the finer things
