Great location with an easy walk to the main street, restaurants, cafes and great shops. FdS is beautifully decorated and breakfast around the pool is a great start to the day

Everything about our stay from start to finish was nothing short of perfection. Room was spotless and well equipped. Beds were super comfy and staff were out of this world. Wouldn't hesitate in staying again.

Breakfast very good, location excellent

We were very happy with our room, which was a good size and beautifully decorated and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the location was good, not far from the centre of Franschhoek. Above all, we were very impressed with the charming staff, ever helpful and ready with invaluable advice and recommendations for restaurants, wine tours etc.

We have no criticisms. We were superbly looked after.

A magnificent place. This is our second stay and it was even more memorable than our first. The rooms have been recently refurbished. We stayed in the fleur du soleil room which was palatial and very comfortable. The breakfast lovely. The pool area very relaxing. Only an easy 5 minute walk to Main Road where all the shops and restaurants are situated and where the wine tram originates. As always it’s the quality of staff which makes a big difference. A big thank you to everyone but we must particularly mention Stanley. From the moment of arrival with a welcome glass of sparkling wine Stanley is a font of local knowledge. We booked a couple of restaurants on his recommendation and were not disappointed. We also changed our wine tram itinerary on his advice and again were very pleased we did so. Truly luxury hotel, perfect location, 3-4 minutes walking distance to the main shops and restaurants. We were greeted by Stanley who is both highly professional and very friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was a delight, served by friendly staff by the swimming pool. Rooms are large, spotlessly clean with everything you need and more. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - highly recommended - will definitely return.
