Clean spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Plenty of free parking outside the hotel, off the main Street.

Fantastic staff, good location, nice breakfast.
Place is run-down. Windows do not lock properly, water faucets from last century, you can see (and smell) mould inside bathroom.
There is also limited room service, priority is given to bar/reustarant

Staff were good, location a bit out of town, very good parking, rooms generous in size
The bed was absolutely TERRIBLE, could not get comfortable, the mattress had no side structure , no heating in our first room

Very friendly and helpful staff.
Excellent food.
Nothing really.
It’s a well used hotel an maybe could do with a tidy up here and there.

The room was nice and bathroom looked recently renovated.
The breakfast was disappointing for the additional cost. I made a request because the stay was celebrating a special occasion, they emailed to say no problem but then didn't do anything which was disappointing.

Location was great
Our room (1) had a very funky smell, like wet carpet. Not pleasant to stay in

Breakfast very bad, cold, empty trays for the eggs

Staff were polite and helpful. Room was clean.
Our room was overlooking the back of the hotel. On Sunday the breakfast items weren’t replenished as much as they should have been. No choice of bread either.

Staff were friendly.
Room was clean and tidy.
Keycard didn't work on 2 occasions. Then had to go to reception to get new ones.
Food was average especially breakfast.

I liked the location which is close to town but not right in the centre of things. There was plenty of parking. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and check in was seamless. The room was spacious and spotless. I also liked that this is a pet friendly hotel.
there were three of us staying in the room but only two bottles of water were provided. this is a very minor point and I am sure if we had asked for an additional bottle we would have got one. breakfast was a bit disappointing. the quality of food was excellent but it took a long time for food to be replenished when it ran out.

Poor service, awful breakfast and poorly renovated rooms.

very modern interior.
I had a stag party staying on my floor who throughout the night where slamming their doors and also knocked on mine. Staff didn’t care when I rang down and also didn’t care when I spoke to them when checking out. if your a drinker it’s not a bad hotel but if you want a quiet night deffo avoid!

Staff are all helpful and really can't do enough for you. Room cleaning ladies are all great.
Superior Room was clean and spacious with lots of storage for cases and clothes. (The storage / drawers were clean and not dusty with bits like a lot of places) The bed was huge and comfortable .
Decent individual toiletries in bathroom, not a dispenser.
Room and bathroom were warm and cosy, in fact we turned the heating off. (October stay)
There was no noise from next door rooms.
Bar has a good atmosphere, and service is great with good food. .
Breakfast on weekends is serve yourself but plated during the week.
Good location for walking along the Quayside into town.
The superior rooms are tired, bathrooms are in need of refurbishment which I believe will be happening soon.
Net curtains and shower curtains need to go.
Lighting in rooms very dull.
Would prefer pot of tea at breakfast instead of the waitress bringing you a wee cup, and please get a new decent toaster, the current ones are slower than a Spanish hotel.
There is an air of economising around the hotel, such as dull light in rooms, towels a bit shabby and a bit off-white, no robes / slippers as advertised "since covid". Why? And the worst thing is the really cheap and nasty 1-ply toilet paper there is just no need for that.

Breakfast very good, but could have been a bit hotter.
Young staff at breakfast good, worked hard. Saw an elderly senior person, but he did not help the staff, and I felt they needed this, but he seemed far removed from the situation..
Comfort of the bed, window’s very draft, but it is in the middle of a refurb and our room had not been done .
