Perfect stay in Franschhoek.

We had a lovely warm welcome from Elsje who explained everything we needed to know. The hotel is beautifully appointed and is a little oasis of calm just off the Main Street. The pool was great for a chill after a busy day. Breakfast was great and all the hotel staff were very friendly.

Lovely stay

Lovely welcome. Great room with a comfortable large bed. Nice choice at breakfast. 'chickens'.

Good size bathroom, the shower area could do with a refresh.

A tasteful place to stay, centrally located and with all modern comforts.

Beautiful property, centrally located. The room was comfortable and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was excellent. Our host was very friendly.

I would easily return to stay again

The location was excellent - just off the main street in town and a 5 min walk to the wine tram Breakfast was varied and tasted good All staff professional & warm - helpful with tips and local knowledge Highly recommend

Room was very comfortable

Breakfast service is non-existant. There is a menu on the tables which state you can order hot breakfast, but no one is available to take your order and no instructions given on how to actually get the food.

Little Gem

Great location, beautiful spacious room and lovely breakfast. Secure onsite parking available. Property has its own generator in the event of the regular power cuts. Staff are warm, friendly and have a wealth of knowledge regarding recommendations.

Room was accessed via external wrough iron spiral staircase, not great if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues although there was another access door used by staff to clean the room. It was also situated adjacent to the kitchen area, so some noise in the morning whilst they prepared breakfast.

We only stayed for one night but found the property to be very comfortable and well located!

The location was great and it was a bonus having a pool in the heat! We were able to park our car inside and the property definitely felt secure. The neighbourhood was really quiet yet it was really close walk to everything you need.

Some of the decorations were a lot more old fashioned than we expected, particularly in the bedrooms and breakfast room. We chose not to eat breakfast but it looked as if it had been sitting out a while. Nobody helped to carry our bags to and from our rooms.

great little place in Franschhoek our host was so friendly and welcoming- I also really enjoyed meeting the pet chicken Bokkie, who was also really welcoming.

Absolutely perfect.

Elije was a fabulous host. Even though we only stayed a couple of nights, it was perfect. Will definitely go back. Right in the centre of Franschoek, great for wine tram tours and restaurants. Breakfast was wonderful too. 😁
