Spa facility is good, and then breakfast provide a lot choice include western and Japanese styles

The location was great as well as the staff. The public bath was nice although changing room/area was quite tight.

The room was small and lighting wasn’t sufficient. Things look very dated inside the room but common areas were very nice.

There’s no restaurant around for dinner, need to walk 8 mins away to the nearest MOS burger. Could have just serve simple dinner within the hotel i would have pay for dinner. The bed was comfortable but the pillow is too soft. The rooftop onsen was nice but nothing special.

The location is excellent, just I. front of Takeo station. I stayed there as the base to explore west Kyushu, as it only took 40 minutes to go to Nagasaki, 12 minutes to Saga, 6 minutes to Ureshino onsen ! the free breakfast had enough variety.

The room is pretty stuffy. There is no ventilation fan in the washroom so there is mold over the corners of the washroom. The room is very small. Low CP value.

There are no restaurants nearby for dinner. even the hotel restaurant is only for breakfast and nothing more. we walk for 10 mins to find only Mos Burger. we don’t come to Japan to eat Mos Burger. the train station does not serve food at night

We needed to see a doctor while in Takeo and the staff went out of their way to help us make this happen, made phone calls for us and even drove us to the hospital! Allen and other staff were amazing, the location, rooms, onsen and breakfast are first class.

Breakfast was good. Due to the dining room size you pick the time frame you want to eat during and they give you a ticket. You have thirty minutes but they didn't rush anyone who went a bit over out. The bed was great and I liked the pillow. The staff are fabulous but don't expect English. If you don't speak Japanese download a translation app like Google Translate or DeepL. I did not use the onsen but they do have one available for guests on the 8th floor so the view is probably great. I like that they don't have the tiny fridge already on as the noise drives me a bit squirrely, just switch on if you want to use it.

The bathroom was small but that's on me, I could have paid for a room with a nicer bathroom.

The hotel is a few short steps from the station, which was perfect. I checked in very quickly, as I wanted to go see the sakura illuminations at Mifuneyama Rakuen (don't miss it!). It was a 10-minute cycle over - and the best sakura illuminations I've seen in Japan in 10 years. I got there at 9:20, so not long to view all the paths and trees, but the pond and floating lanterns were gorgeous. The hotel was lovely, with sweet staff and a nice if fairly basic onsen. Definitely get out to one or more of the other local onsen if you can. Breakfast was fine - if a bit basic. Visit the bakery in the town hall a few blocks away for a real treat! :) The mini-baguette with adzuki and butter was so good, as were the other 5 pastries I took with me for the day.

Breakfast was sort of limited, but it was still during the covid times, so that's to be expected. The coffee wasn't particularly good, but that's a minor issue.
