Great view in quiet village
We enjoyed our stay at cal Gerard. The views were very nice. Beds were comfortable. Close to Andorra where there is lots of shopping and hiking. Roads are fairly narrow so better to have a small car. Kitchen was a bit small and could use some more pans and cooking utensils. Large fridge and freezer, stove and oven all worked well. Dryer was down in the cellar. Optimal would be 2 to a maximum of 3 guests. The hosts were very helpful on checkin and even set us up with dinner at a local restaurant the night we arrived. Marie speaks English fairly well and was very informative.

Altes Steinhaus in ruhigem Bergdorf mit toller Aussicht
Schön renoviertes, altes Steinhaus in abgelegenem, ruhigen Bergdorf kurz vor Andorra. Geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Etwas klein aber urig. Direkte Zufahrt bis vor die Haustür und Parkplatz neben Haus. Nette Schlüsselhalterin. Eine größere Pfanne und eine Salatschüssel z. B. wäre noch schön; sonst aber alles ok. Zufahrt ca. 4,5 km von der Hauptstraße den Berg hoch, aber gut zu fahren.
Durch das ausgefeilte Bewässerungssystem immer frische Pflanzen in den Blumenkästen vor den Fenstern.
Öffnen der Haustür etwas schwergängig; ist aber eine Kleinigkeit.
Wir sind froh, dass wir dieses Haus in dieser Gegend gefunden haben.

The apartment was clean and nicely furnished and had that “like home” feel. Maria and her husband were very welcoming and accommodating, it was like a bonus having to meet so nice people.

Excelente elección
Nos hemos alojado durante una semana en Cal Gerard. La casa es nueva, totalmente equipada, muy limpio todo, el entorno precioso. Un pueblecito de montaña con unas vistas espectaculares. A un paso de Andorra. Mención especial a sus propietarios Ermengol y Mª Angels, un encanto de personas, muy serviciales pendientes en todo momento de lo que puedas necesitar. Si quieres pasar unos días de tranquilidad en la montaña y con todas las comodidades, es la mejor elección. Esperamos poder volver en un futuro a Cal Gerard.

Estada excel·lent!
Hem tingut el plaer d' estrenar aquesta casa. Molt neta i acollidora, l' equipament és complet i funciona molt bé, tens tot el que es necessites per estar com a casa. Hi hem estat molt bé, els llits immillorables.
L' entorn és bonic, molt tranquil, ideal per desconnectar. Gaudeixes del descans i la pau que ofereix la natura en estat pur.
Es pot fer senderisme, visitar els poblets de muntanya propers, i també la Seu d' Urgell o Andorra.
