Worst breakfast ever eaten in an hotel. Paper plates, cups and utensils Cold scrambled eggs and sausages. Cold noodles, white bread only. Butter and jam in a bowl with communal knife. Self clearing no hotel staff present.

Great location and comfortable rooms. Good water pressure. We also enjoyed the pool after a hot day sightseeing.

We had a wonderful stay. Excellent staff: Russell at the front desk was very helpful and gave great suggestions. The service was great and we were looked after very well and had a very comfortable stay. Our request for early check in was graciously granted and luggage held until the room was ready. The room was clean, small but sufficient. The bed was comfortable and the overhead rain shower was fantastic. Just what we needed after a tiring and humid day out in Singapore. Breakfast was adequate. The location was ideal for us, in a fairly quiet side lane, walking distance to Chinatown and Clark & Boat Quays. There were restaurants and cafes near by. Compared to the prices we'd seen while booking, this was a great value for money option. There was a plunge pool and small open terrace garden, but we didn't use these.

they didn’t have my room type available so they downgraded me. major fail. breakfast was comically bad.

The position of the hotel and it was not too expensive for Singapore. All together it was ok.

It was not clean enough. Not bad, but could be better. I hate hair on bed sheets and towels. The room was small. Not bad for Singapore but in Kuala Lumpur, which is near, you can get for the same or less price great hotel with great faculities - top hotel.

The staff were friendly, room was spacious and clean. Close to 2 MRTs. Walking distance to the conference attended at Raffles Place.

Hotel Bencoolen is located at a nice spot in Singapore. Close to two major subway lines and it’s a short walk to Chinatown. The bed is super comfortable and all the facilities were super nice. No major issues. Free water refill has been a plus.

The only downside isn’t that the wifi likes to make you login in everyday or would randomly kick you off. Kind of annoying if you’re on a limited data plan.

-dirty rooms -dirty bathrooms -mould in bathrooms - when asked to move room told fully booked (not there fault but think there cleaning staff is very poor, we moved rooms due to the ‘deluxe double not being available for an extra night and both rooms were gross and unclean. we was told when moving to the double the room would be clean but found out at 9pm when we got back it was not and there was no option to move rooms or be refunded some money for the poor standards) -shouldn’t be a four star hotel -sweat stained bedding 🤮 -you can hear a lot of door slamming - the fact we are still stuck here for 3 nights
