Loved the location, easy to find, easy to get to. Small, nothing fancy but served it’s purpose for us. We basically just needed somewhere to sleep for 2 nights. Only negative things I can say is that it was pretty hot during our stay and we couldn’t figure out the thermostat.. it was usually late when we were there so we just used fans (which we were happy to see there!) and the other thing was 1 of the nights the Wi-Fi wasn’t working, couldn’t figure that one out so we just watched a dvd (when was also provided!) we are a family of 6, it was definitely small for us but we basically were just there to sleep so it was fine, if your planning on being there more that just sleeping, it would probably be better for maybe a family of 4

The first thing we noticed was that the condo had a stale smell upon entry. It appeared to be clean but the carpet on the stairs and in the bedrooms needed cleaning badly. Otherwise the property meet our needs and we had a relaxing stay.

Someone from Vacasa contacted us over an hour before check in started asking us how our stay was going and when we let them know that we were planning on checking in shortly they told us check in wasn't available yet. We asked for early check in (at this point it was 3pm and check in was at 4pm) and they said to not go anytime before 3.30pm. We thought that wasn't nice considering they reached out asking how our stay was going, that the cleaning team was no longer there and that we were an hour away from check in. In addition, the fridge was on the recommended setting but kept leaking and was also creating ice blocks and freezing food. We let Vacasa know and they never checked back on us. Overall, the condo was wonderful, but Vacasa could have done a better job at making our stay a five-star vacation.

Our stay was wonderful. The property is convenient, quiet and colorful. We only missed a pot holder or two. I would rent it again😊

The place was cozy and was good for a long snowy weekend getaway. Great fully-furnished kitchen, warm fireplace (that heats the entire place); we enjoyed having an upstairs and downstairs space. I wish the main bedroom had a King-sized mattress.

Had a beautiful view of the trees and a grassy area off both balcony’s. You could see squirrels and blue jays from the living room. The fact that your car has covered parking is also a plus because it did snow on Monday. Location was also perfect and close to the major east side walking/biking trail. Jiffy’s pizza was amazing and delivered right to our door. No complaints, house was immaculately cleaned when we arrived. This was important because we were traveling with a newborn.

Had a beautiful view of the trees and a grassy area off both balcony’s. You could see squirrels and blue jays from the living room. The fact that your car has covered parking is also a plus because it did snow on Monday. Location was also perfect and close to the major east side walking/biking trail. Jiffy’s pizza was amazing and delivered right to our door. No complaints, house was immaculately cleaned when we arrived. This was important because we were traveling with a newborn.

This condo was great for two adults one 16-year-old and 13-year-old. We spent two days at Kings Beach where it’s 4 miles from the condo. We had a rental car, that we left at Kings Beach, and I rode the bus back and we rode the bus there, or for free, which is awesome. I was a little scared because there is no AC unit, but it was not needed, in fact it was too cold at night, I just put on some extra blankets I could’ve use the heaters that they supplied but did not. My younger son said he did get hot, but that’s because he didn’t leave the window open and he likes to have the phone on him 24 seven. My oldest son that slept in the room said it was fine. Overall, great day, great area and very convenient for transportation. It’s 42 minutes from Reno airport, another 42 minutes to South Reno, if you want to go there and gamble, we prefer to stay on this side, will definitely be back, because there’s still a lot of stuff we didn’t do.

Vacasa reps actually told me I should go all around the house unplugging items to see if it stopped the breaker from tripping! We had to eat out a few times instead of making food we just purchased! The sink was falling apart. The fridge was leaking water inside and out and leaked all over my greens which made them completely inedible. Three maintenance men were called to the house, to which one of them said he was embarrassed at the condition of the house. The appliances were repaired but no one bothered contacting me to at least offer to clean up the condo or reimburse us for the meals we laid for and food we lost. This was a special trip for me. Vacasa made it difficult to enjoy with their compete failure to clean this place and make it functional before our arrival. They still they do extra cleaning for COVID. It’s clear they do not!!! I’ve asked to speak with management as I expect some reimbursement for the hassle and headache we had to go through but no one has called. What a sad company this is. DO NOT RENT FROM VACASA PROPERTIES!

GREAT PLACE
We loved this place so much , so cozy and local to a lot of fun ski places & food !!!! We are thinking about coming back to this same place for the summer since it’s so close to sand harbor ! Love how close it’s to the lake that’s awesome ! The house was really clean !

The location of this accommodation is quite convenient. About 100 meters from this condo, there is a ski rental shop, where you can rent or buy ski/snowboard equipment there. It will take you around 10-15 mins drive to get to the nearest ski resort- the diamond peak.
some to-improve points for this accommodation:
1) no clear sign of this condo. the sign on the crossing is wrong, therefore it takes us around 30 mins to find this place.
2) There's no coffee beans in the coffee machine. it will be a plus if you do prepare some coffee beans for the guests.

A Great Little Get Away
This place was perfect. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep, and the beds were super comfy. The fireplace kept the entire unit cozy and warm. The area is quiet and the unit is conveniently located to all the ski resorts and snow fun. We had a great time hanging out playing games & watching movies after a long day of snow fun.
