We’ve been walking the South West Coast Path for about five weeks and this was definitely one of our favorite accommodations. The rooms are impeccably decorated, beds are very comfortable, there is a sitting area and a garden to relax in, the breakfast room is charming, breakfast very tasty and the hosts are welcoming and accommodating. The wife is a painter and her art work hangs in the house and in the rooms. And it’s very good.

We felt very welcomed. The rooms and the whole house are just stunning. Trevor and Kirsten are so lovely. They tried to help everywhere they could. Definitely the best place I have ever stayed at. I loved spending time there!

Gorgeous property, comfortable and luxurious with lovely period features and artwork. Every detail was perfect. The breakfasts are out of this world! Superb hosting. Fabulous location. We had a wonderful stay.

Warm welcome from Trevor and Kristen. I chose because of parking on site. Everything was luxurious. Rooms, Food-breakfast, snacks. Great bed. Close to the promenade and town. Trevor kindly helped us with our suitcases.

Friendly, extremely helpful staff. Attention to detail was superb, too many thoughtful touches to mention. Kirsten's wonderful original paintings adorned the walls. Superb breakfast. Trevor's greeting with a pot of tea and cake was much appreciated. The Regency building is tastefully renovated. Highly recommended.

It was my grandparents that stayed here (I booked for them). They absolutely loved it. They raved about the staff, food, hotel, everything! They said the staff were really kind and welcoming. Everything was clean. There was a great choice of breakfast food. They couldn't fault it.

My grandparents did not have a single critical thing to say about their stay.

1st class breakfast with jazz music on in the background. Pre ordering of breakfast meant it was ready on time.

The food was exceptional, both supper and breakfast. The hosts could not have been kinder or more attentive and we loved our stay. The house is very elegant and beautifully kept and we were very comfortable.

From the moment you arrive through to departing, everything you could possibly want is taken care of by Kirsten & Trevor

Trevor was perhaps the most welcoming host. That's saying something as we are well traveled. There was no detail too small for our comfort - beer, soft drinks coffee and tea and assorted chocolates. The room was very comfortable and the shower pressure incredibly strong. No "hotel" art here. Kirsten, our hostess, is a painter whose beautiful large original oils of modern landscapes adorned our room as well as the common areas.. We were given a menu for breakfast every evening with an incredible assortment of continental and hot cooked choices. I had something different every morning, enjoying every meal. Coffees, French pressed, was dark and strong. Everything was very very good. I would not hesitate to recommend The Summer House to anyone staying in Penzance.
