Lovely clean building, in a great location and with a friendly host. The dining room being 24 hours is a great idea.

The room was a bit smaller than I'd hoped.

Had a wonderful three-night stay at the Treventon Guest House! The house is charming and in a good location, a 15-20 minute walk from Penzance Station and just 1-2 minutes from the boardwalk. We appreciated the option to drop off our luggage early and access our room independently via a door code, which made check-in a breeze. Breakfast was simple but delicious, with vegan/GF options, and it was nice to be able to use the shared dining room to make a cup of tea or coffee during the day. The owner has a commitment to sustainability and the guest house is full of thoughtful touches that demonstrate a real attention to detail.

Great central location to Penzance. Good communication regarding arrival and getting access to your room. The continental breakfast offering was excellent. Everything was well organised, clearly labelled and the food/drink excellent quality. Bernard was a delight, very helpful and accommodating.

The bed was slightly uncomfortable and my partner and I had a broken nights sleep.

The owner of the property was very accommodating, and the breakfast room was perfect for our family of 5.

Old building feeling, that lovely sound of wood by going up and downstairs, the style itself, it was exactly what I was looking for, a real British experience. Logistically perfect, my wife, my 11months old son and I used it for travel king the entire Cornwall, 20/30 miles max from every point of interest. It is also close to Lidl and coop, free parking always available and 5 minutes from the seafront. The owner is very thoughtful and sociable, spending 5 days there was a real pleasure!

the property was convenient to beach esplanade and within walking distance to several restaurants. the breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable. Nice hot water in shower. Host was available when required. good kitchen facility.

Beautiful guest house within a block to the beach. Parking free on the street. There was a separate eating room. The room had nice furnishings and a comfortable bed. Very clean. Host was very nice and provided us continental breakfast upon request at an early hour. Good WiFi.

Bernard is incredibly well organised and welcoming. Our room was spotlessly clean; good shower; very comfortable bed. Excellent continental breakfast, the hot croissants being a very tasty bonus.

Accommodation is so expensive now, which I struggle with. To pay £100 for one night for me is such a lot on my income if it wasn't that I would have stayed 2 nights like I wanted. Yet I saw when booking that it's possible to pay so much more. Also the accommodation did feel very worth that money, the building was lovely and the host was extremely accommodating and the room was totally excellent.

Continental breakfast buffet was rather disappointing. Parking near the hotel could be diffcult at certain times.

Everything was lovely and clean and practical. Bernard was lovely and very helpful. The location was great.

The only issue was the staircase it is very narrow , long and steep to the top which is where we were staying. I know this can not be changed, so maybe at the time of booking the question about fitness and mobility should be asked.

it was very clean, the bed was supper comfortable. breakfast was very small but sufficient. as a gluten intolerant person I still got a nice breakfast of Greek yogurt and fresh berries.

It said on here that there is plenty of parking but when we got there around 9pm I struggled to find parking as it is in quite residential area with other B&Bs

nicely decorated, very clean and a label for everything (literally!) our room was spacious.

Host was a little over zealous in having instructions for everything. It felt very ocd driven and it was not really necessary although I’m sure other people like to have everything explained in such minute detail but I’m an intelligent person, didn’t need this level of detail over how to make a coffee or toast bread. Please take that as constructive criticism. I also think you need tea and coffee making in the rooms. yes it’s available in the guest kitchen but not great trying to carry a hot drink up two flights of stairs. You had a lot of good health and safety points that you had obviously thought of but I think you are leaving yourself open to a claim by expecting guests to carry hot drinks up stairs. Not everyone wants to sit in a communal kitchen to drink a hot drink each time. The only other thing I feel was a bit off putting was that your jams and spreads were in large jars rather than individual sachets so you are having to use things that other people have already put their knife or spoon into. I think this needs attention but the small bottles of portioned milk were great!!
