Everything. The room, the buffet breakfast, the Chongqing Raffles City mall, the proximity to a metro station, the location, everything was amazing and convenient. Sometimes I felt like I didn’t have to leave the hotel or the complex at all! Everything I needed was right there. Also the pool and sauna was very fun too.

You need to pay a hefty deposit which can obviously be refunded once you check-out.

The panoramic view from the room was breathtaking. Location of the hotel is probably the best in CQ. Maid service on the 34th floor was excellent. All the concierge staff were impeccable Gym/pool/sauna staff excellent. The facilities in the apartment were top class. Anything from a cup of coffee to daily food, beer, medicines can be delivered inside 30mins (normally).

Jack hammer construction going on 24/7 and we mean 24/7 - we stayed for one month and after 2 peaceful weeks it started..... from then, we never really got an entire nights peace. The manager who visited our room didn't seem to share that the constant digging throughout the entire day and night was an issue - it was! A big one. We left two weeks earlier than planned. Breakfast was under par so much, we just stopped going. Front desk require some guest training. The rooms could be cleaner (fingerprints and small marks). It's expensive - though family apartment choices at this level are limited. Other than the metro which is fine - getting a taxi too and from can be challenging - the area is so busy that taxi drivers don't want to go there.

Our apartment had an amazing view (33rd floor, I think), and that alone was almost worth it. The apartment was also extremely clean and had all the various amenities one might need for an extended stay. The bed was super comfortable (best sleep in weeks), and the service was excellent, from the front desk to the cleaning crew. We stayed while it was extremely hot outside so the AC was critical and it worked great.. as cold as you want it to be. Excellent location - right in the middle of everything.

Our room did have a slightly moldy odor, due to the AC I think. I got used to it, but my wife hated it. Don't bother with their breakfast. The service is great but the food is not. On our first night, the shower head broke and sprayed water all over. That was a little surprising given the building is brand new, but somebody came to replace the line immediately so all good. Still, the water did not get super hot and the pressure was not good. Tub could not be used as it wouldn't plug.

The best location ever! Huge shopping mall in the same building complex with variety of food options from local chinese street food, lavish seafood buffer or Starbucks Reserve with great alcogolic cocktails; pier for Yanddze cruise is a minute walking with luggage; airport transfer point just across the door. Subway 5 min walking, main attractions walking distance. Beautiful views everywhere. Clean and comfy rooms

Wifi is nonexistent, staff speaks bad english, they can’t answer anything without translating thru phone apps

What i liked? Everything! There is nothing i could complain about. The first moment i entered Ascott Raffles, i felt like home. Every single employee is totally accommodating and kind. The rooms aber super clean and you have everything you need inside: - coffee machine with tabs - 2 bottles of water every day - washing machine powder to do your laundry in the apartment, but there is also a laundromat - there is an iron for your clothes - drying rack - completely decorated kitchen with everything you need to cook your own meals - if you are to lazy to go out or cook by your own, there is a service where a robot will bring the food to your room - very good air conditioning - big shower and also a bathtub - very comfortable bed with 4 pillows .. and much more.. If you go out, you can directly walk into the big shopping mall, where you will find eveything you need. I highly recommend this hotel and i hope i can come back soon again. Thanks to the staff for this wonderful time!

Location was excellent. Hotel staff were wonderful and helpful. Rooms were very spacious and exceptionally clean. Panda and clown robots delivered vending machine groceries which was amazing and so cute! Swimming pool was clea, quiet and a good temperature.

Restaurant not open for dinner (only breakfast and lunch). They offer in-service dining that can call down. As a foreigner with no Chinese, I could not call down so had to go to reception to order. But they were very helpful.

location was great. the architectural design of the building is cool. the apartment had a walk in closet and they supply drying rack for clothes which was very useful as we were traveling with a young child. all the amenities were new. overall a good place to stay for anyone

The lobby restaurant smell is pretty strong when you enter the lobby floor. I wish they would sort the smell of food as hotels and serviced apartment lobbies have nice fragrances rather than fried food. their breakfast was very bland. wouldn’t really pay extra for it unless it’s free.

10 out of 10 for everything. We also stayed next door at Raffles International Hotel, paid more than double the price per night for half the space and no amenities such as Ascott. Definitely recommending Ascott compared to International.

The hotel is very new and modern. The room is spacious, clean, and comfort. It has all the facilities that we want, and staff there are very friendly and helpful. Location is very convenient with a large shopping mall.

The breakfast can have more options. My room does not have a very good view though.

It felt like i was coming home everyday. Lovely service during check in. They also helped us book cruise tickets. The rooms are very comfortable. Great location too.

The breakfast variety could be better. The food availability needs to be replenished quicker given the large number of customers. The tables were not cleaned up fast enough either.
