The cleaner had not been before our arrival - dirty bed sheets, no towels, beer bottles in the kitchen. The property was not safe - another couple had keys to our apartment and unlocked the door whilst we were in the apartment. The location is not a ‘safe area’. The property owner promised us a refund as we had to move to a different property using our own money, and 3 weeks later we have not received a refund from her and she is ignoring any messages and calls from myself and from booking.com.

It was the most tidied and clean apartment I have ever stayed in in the uk. The apartment is the exact same as shown in the pictures. Also the kitchen is fully equipped and it helped us a lot as we cooked at home. The host is a sweetheart, the most helpful host I have ever seen. I would 100% recommend book this apartment if you are staying in Liverpool.

Everything was more then perfect. We had a wonderful stay.

the property was really cold- draughty- coming from single glaze windows, always cold air coming in, the heating was set really low but luckily later in the night I figured out how to turn it up myself at the boiler as otherwise not sure I would have been able to stay as Rooms have very high ceiling etc which are beautiful and spacious but very hard to heat, the apartment was relatively clean but all the crockery - over cooking stuff etc was filthy, there was not one fork at the property- the washing machine did not work, there was no bin or even a bin bag in the property- overall very disappointed tbh - the area seemed very rough and I was nervous leaving my car outside too- I was sent the wrong code initially for the lockbox and couldn’t get in- very hard to find it with sat nav or google maps etc too

The bed was very comfortable. The heating was very toasty. The location was easy to get to. Lots of appliances to use in kitchen ie oven/microwave/fridge. Good amount of safety getting in to property ie sturdy front door with number keypad

Constructive criticism The shower was hard to get correct temperature ie too hot or too cold. Blinds were bit difficult to use & looked old.

Needed a deep clean on this occasion. Lacked basics like cups (there was only one). Bed felt like it was collapsing in the middle.

wasn’t very clean, the bed was very squeaky, the place didn’t look like the picture, it took the host 1 hour to reply to my phone call asking what the code for the door is, tv didn’t work

location was ideal for a trip into the city centre £11 Uber ride or 8 minutes in own car

the property needed some attention blinds were hanging off the television wasn’t working in the bedroom tried to tune it in with no luck and two remotes both not working there was walnuts left in sight just under the microwave luckily we didn’t have a nut allergy the bedroom mirror has makeup smudged over it with a bit of attention could be a nice place felt it was a disappointment we have stayed in various apartments that have cost less and been cared for so much more.

i loved the space, you got a lot for your money

liverpool is a nightmare to get taxis in the evening so the distance to the city was the only issue, we ended up using the scooters to get around as these were easiest and quicker

Lack of communication by host She failed to respond to either telephone calls and texts. She She left us for 3nights with no heating. She was fully a where the heating was not working. The flat was not how it is described when we booked. The kitchen was sparkly equipped . There is a need for a small table and chairs, no where to sit and eat a meal. There were dirty things having been left by previous occupiers in the fridge. . There where no tea towels provided and the hand towels inadequate for an adult.
