Location was perfect and the secluded location overlooking the bush was superb. The venue was well appointed with everything we required, even for cooking a BBQ dinner. Warm and comfortable on a cool spring weekend. Very likely that we'll return.

Everything. Requires a serious update and definitely a new cleaner (assuming there is one). Deck completely covered in old leaves. Barbecues unclean. House Smelt musty. Cutlery drawer had to be cleaned. Fireplace not cleaned. Ashes bucket half full. No paper or kindling. Fridge leaking. Furniture old and grubby. Hole in lounge wall. Windows filthy. Not enough bedroom linen (updated request was confirmed by phone the day prior). Linen old. Generally old tired and undesirable. Certainly well overpriced.

Perfect location, walking distance to village and activities.

Very hot house needs ventilation like heat pumps and HRV system. Or maybe each bedroom and lounge must be equipped with portable fans. The decking must have gates at entry for little toddlers.

The location was near to shops and eating places. It was quiet, surrounded by lots of trees and welcoming birds. The home was very comfortable and felt like home away from home. Well equipped kitchen, neat and tidy rooms,clean towels and linens and very spacious for a family of 8. We enjoyed the fireplace and selection of family games and books in the cupboard.

There were no drawers to pack clothes in. Limited space to hang clothes because of bedding and extra things inside the cupboard. We could not use the oven because it would not turn on. Perhaps placemats to protect the dining room table and provide hygiene while eating. Some of the quests did not appreciate a wobbly toilet seat in one of the toilets.

The deck area outside was terrific.

The single beds were uncomfortable.

The bushy location close to Matakana was lovely.

It smelt musty and the lounger was dirty. Some curtain hooks were broken. The kitchen fittings were tired. Not enough lighting for a dull day.
