The strength of Bagatelle Garden House relies on its kind and attentive staff who are there for any need, even if that be a chat. This smartly designed hotel offers a beautiful breakfast in a lovely setting. Just far enough removed from the center to offer peace and quiet just a short walk to the castle district, or taxi to Pest.

Bathroom amenities provided include a body soap bar, and a shampoo bar. I would have loved a conditioner as well.

The room was nice and cozy. Awesome dining area and really exquisite breakfast. You can tell that the ingriedents were on top level. Its really close to city center (in walking distance) so it simplified our tour :)

Best place in Budapest. Perfect place to relax, very kind and helpful staff.

We loved hanging out in the common area with a garden view having tea and coffee so much that we actually got out to see the sights way less than we planned. 😅

Loved the uniqueness of the hotel. Made to feel very welcome, lots of added extras. Well designed room with nice features and decor. Breakfast was lovely. Very accommodating staff.

Probably one of the nicest places to stay in Hungary. Stylish, comfortable, every single item, colour is chosen with outstanding style and taste and Love. You can feel a personal touch everywhere you look. They really appreciate their colleagues as a family. They even issued a top quality book, about them as a family. The design of the whole villa is outstandingly beautiful. A lovely common place to eat/read. Very generous with the drinks offered. Lovely welcome drink. Top professional, highly educated (in Denmark) receptionist, very flexible, fulfilling all requirements of the guest. The house puts a high emphasis on protecting the environment. The owners passion and taste for contemporary art is impressive. There wonderful original paintings all over, by Hungarian painters. Amazing, really. I will definetely return :-) Also, I love, that they created this villa hotel with passion. They only have 6 stylish rooms, a very cozy and lovely atmosphere. Congratulations! And a great Thank You for it !

It was a bit surprising that one of the guest had her chemo treatment from this hotel. I do not mean to be inhuman, but I think she would need special care. It cannot be expected from the receptionist and from the other guests, to adjust to special needs. That should be rather in a hospital or in a rehabilitation home. But the hotel has nothing to do with this challenge. The receptionist, Réka, did an amazing lovely job, with all the guest. Best in class, really.
