Location was decent and the apartment is relatively well equipped. The washer and drying rack were very helpful. Owner is nice and easy to deal with.

The shower was literally disgusting and doesn’t drain effectively. I’ve never seen as much mold and gunk as we did behind the shower door anywhere else. Desperately in need of a deep clean. Kitchen could also use a few more pots, pans and utensils. (The owner went out of his way to bring us what we needed at the time.)

The condition of the room. The air conditioner is struggling to cool. There was a cockroach waiting for us near the bed. The apartment is actually a basement apartment which is dark most of the time. We couldn't find the extra sheets and pillows for the sofa bed.

The place was filthy, with copious amounts of mold in the shower. There was little in the way of bathroom products. There was a minimum amount of coffee or tea. The refrigerator was empty- not even a little milk for coffee or tea. We cancelled our next booking at the place at the last moment because of all of the above.

The price was supposed to be 315 shekels. This changed when I pressed reserve and jumped the price to 615 shekels. I supposed it must be a deposit. I talked to the person by phone and they informed that this was for cleaning. I used booking.com several times in Israel during these last two weeks and this was the only time this happened. It felt like a bait and switch technique and I will be more careful next time an establishment kicks the price up in the final stage of reserving my housing.

No windows dark and dingy did not look like the place the picture showed

EILOT-Host offered us another flat, but did not tell us, how far away is was from our earlier booked flat. So we booked our first choice.

After booking, we had to postpone our stay by one day, because customs at Taba-crossing did not let us leave Egypt. Upon that, the EILOT-host offered no alternate accommodation. Our booking and payment was "lost". Finally we arrived at Eillat and had to search for accommodation. Hotel-Aviv in Eilat was helpful. Compared to that, EILOT-host was no help.

We were a couple +3 young children. We had a two room apartment with a kitchen, a small table and a bathroom. We had everything we needed at the apartment. It's compact and there's no extra space (with 3 young kids, is there ever, really?) but it met our expectations and was excellent value for our money. There's a grocery store right up the road - super convenient. I made a few requests of Jean-marc, our host, over whatsapp, and he was quick to respond and very helpful and accommodating.

The bed was too hard for my wife's taste, but I was fine with it. The microwave is too high up to be easily accessible, but it's still useful.

The location is very good, everything is in walking distance. The kitchen is capable and equipped (full size fridge). The check in process is easy and time saving, no need to meet in person.

The door opens into the bedroom, and from there you have passage to main room with toilet/bathroom and kitchen. Its not very comfy... (app. N5) Threre is number of apartments in the building, so you hear all your neigbours if they are a bit more louder then average (happens in Israel, you know :-) )

It was right as I expected. Excellent value for money!

Super clean! Great location, 10 minutes walk from main attractions, 100% value for money.
