Very nice property…the elevator made moving in & out so easy….great view, comfortable & well stocked!

Sun, water, views for miles. Great space to get away too.

Property was clean and well kept. A lot of room to move around and not feel crowded. Plenty of dishes, utensils and everything you would need. Very well stocked condo. Only concern would be lack of sleeping room for any adults, but kids would love the air mattress., Overal a solid 10!!!

I wish there were more then 5 stars , our trip was absolutely amazing , Donna was great from start to finish ( answered my thousand questions lol) , the house is beautiful , clean, spacious, very well equipped with everything you need . The views are amazing less then 2 min walk to private beach , it's the perfect place very peaceful and quite . There is a cute little store at the beginning of the Broadkill road , Good food and has some grocery items . Rehoboth is just about a 15 min drive . Me and my family are already planning to stay next year . You will not be disappointed in booking this house

Apartment on 3rd floor had everything you need to relax and enjoy your vacation. Master bedroom is large with an amazing shower in the bathroom. Two entry ways to balcony where you can read or enjoy the sun coming up. Walk way to beach is quick. Outside bathhouse is great to clean off all the sand from yourself and beach accessories. The apartment is clean and nicely decorated. Owner always available to answer any questions you have. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone and hope to return next year!!!

We had such a great time at Broadkill Beach. The location is wonderful - so close to the beach. The house is clean, comfortable and well stocked - it had everything we needed! We had a couple of questions for our hostess and appreciated how quickly she responded. We can't wait to return!

We loved our stay! The views and location were much better then expected. The apartment was very nice. The kitchen has everything. The shower was awesome! My only problem was you can really hear the people below. Could even hear them coughing at night.

This was our 2nd visit to this rental and once again we had a wonderful time. We were able to schedule our vacation to coincide with the annual horseshoe crab spawning and this year participated in the horseshoe crab survey right there on Broadkill Beach. The house is positioned between the salt marsh and the beach, so we had an amazing variety of birds to watch and added a bunch to our birding lifelists! The walk to the private beach was about a minute and we had a wonderful time on the beach as well. The house is beautiful and well equipped. You can't go wrong here!

The space that we rented was very bright and airy with tall ceilings. The bathroom was huge and there were many windows and sliding glass doors which provided views of both the bay and canal. Elevator was a real plus and recliners were electric which is a bonus for those with physical challenges. Checking process was very easy and owner very responsive.

Donna was fantastic! Very responsive and helpful! The place was just perfect for our family of 5 and our doggos too. Very well stocked kitchen, so that even our Thanksgiving dinner was no problem at all! Seriously, there is even a gravy cup! This was the first vacation home that we've ever stayed at that actually had a first aid kit! Donna has thought of everything! Even down to paper towels and hand soap. I didnt need to bring as much as I did. The views from both sides of the house were spectacular with sun rises and sun sets! The elevator was extremely helpful with unloading and loading when we arrived and when we left. The check in process was seemless and the instructions were clear. Just a short walk over the dunes and you're on the beach. Seashells and sea glass were in no short supply! And we spent our days on the beach fishing and keeping warm around the campfire. The place had more than enough space, we were happily surprised by the room we had, to sleep and also to watch movies in front of the fireplace, and the kitchen was huge as well. Water pressure was great, and the master shower was awesome! The windows surrounding the apartment let the outside in... I will miss the views of the water, and the blue heron that seemed to camp out in the creek across the street. Oh, and the fox that lives on the dunes! 😊 Thank you, Donna. Location and view are great. Good place to relax. The property is listed as multiple people, the apartment is spacious, however only one bedroom. The living room is not comfortable to watch TV since a daybed is one of the furniture pieces. I was a little concerned when first entering as the entry and hall are in need of a coat of paint. With that said, we did have a nice time and like I said the location and view are great.

The beach could have quite a lot of insects so definitely one needs to bring insect repellent. Online it looks like it’s 4 miles from Lewes but that is as the crow flies. By car it’s about 17 miles so I wish that had been made more clear in the online description. The owner was very communicative and was very helpful.

This 3rd floor apartment is quiet, clean, and peaceful. The view of the bay is great and the beach is lovely. As a family of 4, we had plenty of sleeping spaces and the directions for the house were easy to understand.

We stayed here during a Sports at the beach tournament. While hustling around all day it was great to come back to a peaceful location to rest. We were the only ones on the beach which was a great change from every other beach trip we go on. We enjoyed our stay and will consider going back.

We loved Broadkill Beach. The house was larger than expected and very clean. Just steps to the beach where we took long walks with the dogs several times a day. Views were terrific. Would love to go back soon.

Donna was flexible with our check-in and made the process easy with detailed instructions. Place was in great shape and had great beach views on one side, bay on the other from the third floor windows. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately this was not the relaxing beach getaway I envisioned for my family. Check in day and day 2 were met with frustrations which included waiting for an Xfinity service guy to repair the cables to allow for the TV to work (which he was also delayed from our appointment time). While we didn’t come to watch TV, my 2 year old wasn’t feeling great and also having a 5 year old, we needed something to occupy them while we were unpacking and cooking dinner. As frustrating as it was to give up several hours of my vacation, Donna was fantastic and very responsive. She was extremely understanding and even credited us a day due to the inconveniences which were even outside of her control. The house itself is much bigger then the pictures show and we had plenty of space. It was a great setup and the beds were comfy. Huge bathroom and nice shower (very convenient with the kids). The view is amazing and the elevator is a necessity you didn’t know you needed- it was great! The house was clean at the surface level but could use a deeper cleaning and we were stuck folding towels that the previous guests used. My biggest concern/disappointment was the beach. It was super close to the house (didn’t need shoes), the water was warm and very calm which was also great with young kids. Best part was that no one else was on it. We would set up our canopy and get ready to spend the whole day there and within an hour we were literally being attacked by massive green head and black flies! They were relentless. Used tons of bug spray, even the real strong deep woods kind and it didn’t matter. Never experienced flies like this at the beach. The Xfinity guy even warned me but I thought how bad can a few flies be. The only way to get away from them is to spend the entire time in the water. Also- we were told that beach chairs were available for use but there is only 1 true beach chair and it is unusable (rusted and the seat is so worn it just sinks into the sand). The rest are captain type chairs. Wouldn’t mind bringing my own but we were trying to pack light. Overall I would say this is not an ideal place for couples or families that plan to spend the entire trip on the beach during peak season. I envision this to be a great trip during off season or for other reasons such as bird watching or fishing. The horseshoe crabs were also very exciting to see on the beach, just wished we could have spent more time on it. We actually left a day early! :(
