This place is really special! Apart from being clean and cozy, the atmosphere is genuinely warm and welcoming, and the care of the hosts is exceptional. After a short time, it is like being at home. Strongly recommended.

There were so many interesting objects around the property, all from a time period that matched the age of the house. While drinking coffee or eating the most amazing muffins and delicious breakfast at the dining table, my eyes were constantly drawn to something new. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy with a comfortable double bed which provided an excellent nights sleep and the shared bathroom was impeccably clean too. Free WiFi was continuous with a strong signal. Due to the nature of the location, ease of parking could be a lottery but each time I returned I managed to park within 50m of the front door and most times right outside.

Absolutely nothing, there was nothing not to like

The atmosphere was amazing, I loved the traditional doors, deco and the safe feeling. It felt like right at home. The Barrett’s family made us feel like we were also part of the family! Mrs Barrett was lovely she blow dried my hair and curled my hair it was such a lovely experience ❤️

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. but if I was to give any suggestions would be maybe we have some slippers at the front when we have to take our shoes off ❤️ Other than that can’t find no faults what’s so ever!

Me and my daughter had a very lovely Christmas stay here. At first, my daughter didn't like the idea of living a away from town centre, but in the end, it was really worth it. Ms Barrett and her family treated us with so much hospitality and kindness, just like family. The interior of room is very lovely, and all furniture is in a perfect state; there even was electric blanket for us to feel comfortable. There were free breakfasts included, made by the owners themselves, as well as tea or coffee breaks - they were followed by very delicious special treats! It wasn't just hotel staying, it was living in a loving family, which we will remember and try to visit again!

I loved my stay at Prince Cottage; Dee went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and looked after. The room was super clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you!

The staff were brilliant, so friendly, extremely welcoming and so helpful.

Parking was limited due to street parking but it wasn't too bad.

The best accommodation I have ever stayed in.

I stayed at Prince's Cottage for nine days. These nine days will be unforgettable in my life. Mr. Barrett and Ms. Barrett did a lot of things for me. All breakfasts and dinners made by Ms. Barrett were tasty and healthy. The coffee, lemonade and desserts served with the meal were excellent. Mr. Barrett and Ms. Barrett's warm thoughtfulness makes me feel at home. They always looked out for me and listened to me. I will never forget their kindness and hospitality.

Ms Barret and John are so nice that I feel like home, they provide so much help than I couldn’t imagine. They saved my very first day in UK. As a foreigner, I never feel foreign in this lovely home. People here are more than service providers but families and dear friends. Many thanks to them. The food is wonderful, fresh and delicious, especially their homemade muffins. I got everything I need, and even more. I stayed one night in the double room and another night in the single room. Both of them are comfortable and clean, I love the warm blanket. This place becomes so special in my heart and I’ll definitely come and visit again.

Everything was done very well and polite and close to my friends place once i found the cottage it wasbvery good better better than the night before at the other guest house it was not as good as Prince Cottage

The guy was really kind, very very professional in hospitality. Breakfast was basic, but eggs super fresh, ie straight from his hens in the garden. But the guy was the kindest most polite human being in the world. Highly recommend this place. Very reasonable price.

Area was a bit unusual, parking could be difficult, other than that, no other dislikes.

For the price this place is awesome. On top of it Mr Barnett does an extra mile to ensure you'll be as confortable as possible.

Everything was amazing..

A non-hotel feel, in a cosy terrace house, very relaxed and calm, homely, friendly welcoming host and good breakfast. Short direct walk to the City centre and main attractions.

Parking was on-road bit tight, but free and found a space few yards from house.
