Full kitchen and laundy for free use, private room on top floor in a nice building.

General clenliness and maintenance could be much better. Dirty floors, oven, washing machine etc

Obtaining the key was awkward to see the numbers for the combination lock, but the keypad seemed awkward at first too. Required prior knowledge of how to use a digital lock but was sorted easily with a phone call.

Central location, but be prepared to accept the noise that comes with that.

There was little to no security, as the adjoining rooms could be opened by the same key. Separating walls are made of wafer thin gyprock, not insulated and allow you to hear the other guests loud and clear.

Good location, a little cramped but to be expected for the price point. Quick responses to our queries. The host's parents chatted with us on our departure morning and were helpful and friendly. A sensible choice if you just want a place to sleep in between city-center activities. The bedroom had some wear and tear on the walls and curtains, but was reasonably clean.

Not a criticism for the hosts, just a heads up- be prepared for the 'shared' aspect of this place, as you may not be able to avoid the other guests even if you wanted to. When we arrived the whole place (including our bedroom) stank heavily of fish that the other visitors had prepared in the shared kitchen. We opened a sliding door because it was hard to breathe, but they then went out onto the balcony to smoke. They also took one of our towels from the shared bathroom and left spilled wine on the shared table, which we cleaned before leaving as a courtesy as it had begun to stain. The bathroom drawers/cupboard were too dirty to put toiletries in, including one drawer filled with beard trimmings. I am unsure if our fish-cooking friends were also responsible for the hairy drawer, but the others weren't too clean either, unfortunately.

Suitable for price. Required deposit externally that was refunded.
