The property is located in a very quiet neighborhood in close proximity to walking/hiking trails, golf course, shopping and within a 10-20 minute drive to downtown - water street. the room we rented was well equipped with TV, fridge, large closet, private bathroom with standup shower and side door access to the beautiful outdoor pool/lounge area. Having breakfast included in the booking was a welcome treat. it was nice not to run out for every meal and the host provided different breakfast options each day.

Hard to rate this stay. We definitely felt we were in someone’s peculiar home. Like being at grandmas house. Although others raved about the breakfast, it wasn’t to our taste. We didn’t feel comfortable using the pool/ outdoor space as it was shared with the family.

The breakfast was very good - the best French toast I've ever had! The pool area is very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was very good. The owner and her son-in-law looked after us very well under difficult circumstances (Kelowna being shut down thanks to forest fires)

The accommodation was not as private as I would have liked. The information on booking.com says "private bathroom" and "all units come with a seating area". It's not clear that the bathroom is not en-suite, and the seating area is shared with the owner's daughter and her family - including young daughter and dog (albeit a very cute dog). Breakfast was eaten at the family's dining table.

Hostess exceptional! The house was full of European art. The pool was great where we relaxed. We stored our bikes in the garage. Our room was well kept, organized, comfortable & clean.

The location of the property is gorgeous and in a decent location.

- very uncomfortable and awkward checkin josh didn’t introduce herself or nothing just showed us the room and then proceeded to payment - not very private other guest in and out of the common area leaving just your room, and the bathroom which ya have to walk across the hall fo access as private. -in the description there is zero mention the host owns and a dog and even mentions that dogs aren’t allowed, the dog the host does own all though the sweetest thing, barks constantly and as someone who works with snd loves with dogs part of vacation is getting away from the barking. -limited access to the pool only allowed to be used from 9-2pm with no method of that in the description otherwise we would not have booked. - the drawers for our clothes was dirty, as well as the glass doors or the shower. -we approached, the host about some of the concerns where she dismissive and rude, which really turned us off and we no longer felt any sort of comfortable staying there anymore. We asked for a refund which she gave us kindly, but charged us for the night and gave zero option to stay. We ended up going to a nearby hotel in a better location,cleaner facilities and hours, and welcoming staff for only $40 more. Save yourself the hassle and splurge somewhere else.
