Perfect getaway with water up all year round. Good fishing even in December (caught perch and a striped bass). The most organized VRBO place we have stayed. A lot of little extras such as a stocked coffee bar (with a Keurig), fire starters for the fire pit, and marshmallow sticks. Beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend this place.

My daughter and son- in-law moved from Dallas to Tennessee for his job. We helped them with the move and stayed longer to see Tennessee. The house was beautiful and wax supplied with everything you needed. I would definitely stay at this house again!

What an immaculate house! Hosts thought of everything! So much attention paid to all the creature comforts! Beds and bedding is A+. Kayaks and paddle boards are in terrific condition and easy to take to water and launch. The lake was the hi light and we enjoyed lovely peaceful paddles in gorgeous surroundings. Conveniently close to downtown and Smokey Mountain National Park. Excellent ling weekend getaway. Coming back with rest if the family soon!

Great location, close to the town, marina, trails, shopping... House had a lot of room, very spacious and clean. The host was great, very friendly and accommodating. We will come back! Our dog had a lot of room to run around and play. We really enjoyed our stay.

It was a very relaxing and clean place that we could just enjoy with our family. Doing the kayaking and smores at night was just a bonus. My family enjoyed being able to fish right behind the house so you never got bored. There is always something to do and we will be back!!!!

This is a fantastic place to stay! All of the lake toys were such a nice surprise and happily used! The hot tub was wonderful, the games (cornhole, checkers on the table, and the arcade game!) were fabulous! I haven't played Tetris since I was a teen and it was so fun to revisit. We did not turn the television on one time. So close to Windrock and really fun to visit Oak Ridge and learn all about the Manhattan Project there. We will definitely come again! Hopefully, with more people to share the fabulousness of it!

We had a wonderful long weekend! The house was beautiful, clean, well stocked, and had lots of fun games for the family! The owner was easy to reach and communicate with. We would definitely stay here again!

This home has a great location and is very spacious . The house was also very well equipped . The owners had everything organized in the kitchen and had lots of extras . It was so nice of them to supply the coffee and hot apple cider . We enjoyed the hot tub and the lake . Thank you for the wonderful stay .

For our most recent visit to see our daughter at UT we decided to try this property and couldn’t be more glad that we did. The owners were super responsive and friendly, and checking in was a breeze. The home was sparkling clean, spacious, and comfortable. Being right on the water and getting to use the kayaks was a great perk. There were board games, bicycles, a fire pit, Cornhole boards and even a hot tub. Restaurants and shopping were a short drive from the house. All in all we had a great stay and will definitely be back.

Family came to our son’s graduation. We had two sets of grandparents who are 80 years old to our 17 year old son. There were 9 staying in the house. Three young adult children slept on the three hid-a-beds in large family room that had a door. We cooked two dinners for the 9 plus others who came over and it was comfortable and kitchen and bbq were great. Easy to get to various places from the house too.

The Melton Hill lake house was cozy, charming and immaculate. The layout was perfect for privacy and simple maneuvering for my elderly parents. Stylish and updated furnishings allowed us to relax and feel completely at home.
Bedrooms had comfortable beds as well as pillows. Plenty of comfy blankets were strategically placed in each room.
Kitchen was well appointed and appliances were new. Washer and dryer were conveniently located in the basement. There were also plenty of board games available in the hall closet if you are feeling competitive!
If you have a furry friend, there is an area that is fenced and is equipped with a separate can and bags for pet waste. It was wonderful to be able to bring the dog with us.
The highlight of the property is the beautiful boat dock and access to the lake. There are kayaks, paddleboards and brand new bikes and helmets. No one was bored!
Location of the lake house is perfect for a Knoxville trip. It was very easy to access the highway and there were plenty of grocery stores nearby.
I have stayed in many Vrbo homes and this was one of the finest. Tracy and Chuck were extremely responsive and have definitely cared and loved this home. Hope to stay again soon!

I wanted to treat my parents to a 55th wedding anniversary weekend with family. Needless to say, it was incredible!

We came to Knoxville for a competition at Windrock and the cabins and hotels were already booked up. So I checked VRBO and found this house only 20 minutes from the park. Perfect for our group! Very nice house as pictured. Convenient location. Huge fenced in back yard area for the pup. Thanks y’all!
