The Surf Shack is a cute place with everything you need. The location is great and walking distance to either the pier or the shops and restaurants. The owners let us know the house was ready early for check in. We very much enjoyed it. The teenagers especially loved the Apple TV’s. 😉

We had a delightful stay at Summer Surf Shack over the Thanksgiving holiday! The apartment was very clean, comfortable, quiet, beautifully decorated and in a very convenient location; so close to the beach and an easy, short walk to stores, and restaurants! Our dog Dora loved it too!! Daniel is a wonderful host! Thank you for your hospitality and a beautiful place to stay! Joanne

We wanted a beach vacay and were able to bring our baby and dog to enjoy the weekend. Having the 2nd bedroom was perfect for the baby travel crib. The living room was a great size for us to relax and the baby to roll around. You cannot beat the location! Steps to the beach and shops. Our family made some great memories!

We were in town moving our daughter into a new apartment and thought it would be nice to have a little space to relax instead of a Hotel. The was exactly what we needed,what a great little house! The space was perfect and the location awesome. We will definitely be back to stay and enjoy the area soon.

We loved everything about it. Only issue we had was the tv and trying to find cable -- its there just wasn't sure how to get to it. And the umbrella outside needs replacing as it fell down from wind -- hard to stay up. But what an awesome place and awesome people to rent from. Would stay there again in a heart beat. You can't go wrong as everything seems very up to date and decor is beautiful. Views are great and great location. 100 stars for this place.

Location was great. Loved that we could see the ocean from the kitchen dining area and front porch. Loft you used a pull down ladder to get to. Fun for our 11 year old and we left the ladder down the whole time. I would not let our 4 year old sleep up there. Beds were comfy, everything was clean and felt homey. Loved the decor and real plants around. Would def stay again!

WB is a great spot
Lots of space to stretch out. Walk right out to the beach and walk just minutes to restaurants, bars and shopping. What a wonderful spot!! Host is very friendly and helpful.

Adorable place . Beautiful view . The beach in October is wonderful ! ! Highly reccomend it vs the summer . The ocean breeze was wonderful ! My mother in law was content and that was great ! Definateky explore the area and stop at trolley for ice cream.. .thanks Jenn and D for a great time

Daniels place was the perfect getaway for our friend reunion weekend!
Response time was really fast and Daniel even helped us find a boat slip for the weekend. The place is in a perfect location with a quick walk to the beach and to the local stores and restaurants 10/10 recommend this rental!

Daniel was easy to get a hold of and super responsive. Phish steps from the beach and well-maintained. It was very quiet and very relaxing. Would definitely consider staying here again if we’re in the area.

Everything about the property was as advertised. The pictures are an accurate representation of the unit and the short walk to the beach was great. Having two parking spaces (one in front, one in back) was key as parking near the beach during summer vacation can be a bit of a pain.
The check in process could not have been any easier. We arrived, unlocked the keybox and were in the unit in under a minute.
Communication with the owner was great - they confirmed we were all settled and checked to be sure we were enjoying our stay.
If you're looking for a place for 2-4 people to enjoy Wrightsville Beach, this should be near the top of your list!

We absolutely loved staying at Summers Surf! It is located at my favorite street in Wrightsville Beach where we have stayed many years, but the first time at this unit. Daniel Summers is the new owner and he was great; communication was prompt and he's very accommodating. The unit was very clean, nicely decorated, and the ocean view is a plus. Parking is at a premium in WB, and this unit has 2 designated spots. An outdoor shower was being enclosed during our stay, which is an added plus when it's finished. The kitchen has your basics, but as long as my husband who is a chef has his knife, he can cook anywhere! There's plenty of good local eats if you don't want to cook during your vacation. I am looking forward to future stays at this rental. It had everything we needed and is perfect for a family of 4 or 2 couples, with extra room in the loft.

We found the location ideal. Close to the beach and local restaurants and shopping. The rental was clean, and well appointed, and sized just right for or family of four. The property manager/owner communicated information promptly and was responsive to questions during our stay. We will definitely consider this place for future stays.

Perfect spot for family of 3
My husband, myself, and our 2 year old stayed here for 5 days and it was a perfect fit! Sparkling clean, easy parking and the laundry access in the basement was a huge plus. The rooms and the kitchen are somewhat small but have everything you need, and there are a couple small closets to store extra luggage/beach gear. There's a nice deck to sit and enjoy morning coffee and you're just steps from the beach. Would definitely stay again!
