Impeccable house. As described in the listing. Actually better than the listing. Susan (the Host) is being modest. Beautifully appointed house. Three full bedrooms, each with own attached bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen, open floor plan into dining and living rooms. Living room and master bedroom have full glass doors accessing the deck. Off street driveway parking. Central cooling. House is central to all. Ten minutes to downtown San Diego. And lest we forget, a super responsive host! The best. You will not be disappointed in your stay.

This home is lovely inside and out. Its done in a craftsman style with beautiful finishes and we loved every minute we were there. The finishes are high end, it is well stocked, spacious, and the whole house is meticulously clean. Every bedroom (comfortable beds!) has it's own bathroom. The host is wonderful, has fantastic communication, and obviously has put a lot of effort and love into this property. The road is a little busy with cars, walkers and bicycles, but inside is so peaceful and quiet, and the deck off the back is huge and you would never know you were in a large city. This has been one of our top VRBO stays! Thanks Susan!

We stayed here 6/8-6-12. It was the perfect location to the attractions we went to, SeaWorld, Zoo, Belmont Park. It was also only a half hour to Legoland. It was also only minutes to the airport and downtown. The house itself is great, nice floor plan, great kitchen, bathrooms, and has everything you need. Thank you Susan, we won’t hesitate to recommend and/or stay at your place again when we return to San Diego.

Our family stayed in this beautiful, well-appointed home for six nights. Mission Hills is a wonderful neighborhood with a coffee shop and many restaurants within walking distance. The beds are comfortable and each bedroom having its own bathroom is a huge bonus. The deck is amazing: listening to birds in the morning and relaxing by the fire at night.

This house is quite simply gorgeous. Beautifully decorated, spacious and well appointed; it was perfect for our multi generational getaway to San Diego. My husband and parents loved sitting on the deck in the morning and listening to the birds, and the large dining table was perfect for the six of us to enjoy evening meals together. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here in March 2023 and had a great experience. The house is exactly as pictured and the views from the deck are fantastic. There were many good restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance and the neighborhood felt very safe. This house is not your typical rental - the finishes and furnishings are all very high quality and we appreciated small details like fresh flowers.

This home was ours for 5 days and it was perfect for us. There were 6 adults (3 couples). Each bedroom has its own bathroom which is nice. We cooked many meals together and sat out on the deck overlooking a verdant canyon. We took full advantage of the gas fire pit, as the weather was cold for San Diego. We liked being near everything San Diego has to offer. Will definitely be back!

We booked a return trip before we departed! There was not one thing we would have changed about our stay at this award winning craftsman style home. The house is full of character and charm, and at the same time is spotless and thoughtfully constructed. The landscaping and interior design were welcoming and had a “feng shui” energy. The appliances are new, and the filtered drinking water was a huge bonus. The area is quiet and the vast canyon views are lovely. The location is perfect for exploring the area surrounding San Diego. We enjoyed the walkable neighborhood with several coffee shops, great restaurants, grocery stores, and yoga studios. Our host Susan was delightful, gracious, and always available to help.

We enjoyed being just a couple blocks away from the park, multiple coffee shops, and best of all just a couple blocks to walk to our daughter’s house. We enjoyed the deck overlooking the canyon, which captured beautiful sunrises when we were there. It felt comfortable as our home away from home!

This was such a great house and Susan was a wonderful host. The photos don’t do it justice. It’s comfortable, functional and just a joy to be in. The beds are great, the art on the walls is beautiful and the kitchen had all the necessities which we really appreciated. We cooked and used the deck constantly. The neighborhood is nice and there are grocery stores nearby. Everything we did like La Jolla and even Encinitas were just 15-30 minutes away. Highly recommend this house and would absolutely rent again if ever in the area. Thanks Susan!

Susan was a wonderful host - quick to respond and very helpful. The property was gorgeous- pictures don’t do it justice. Every thing was beautifully appointed and the rooms were cozy and quiet. Susan’s home was fantastic. It’s a perfect set up with an en-suite bathroom for all 3 bedrooms. It’s a beautiful home and everything is tastefully done. It really felt like vacation - especially with the awesome outdoor deck and the beautiful landscaping. It was spotless and every drawer was clean and organized - you can tell they really care about this home and their guests. I would stay here again in a second. One of the very best rentals we have ever done and we are really picky!

We truly enjoyed everything about our stay at this home. It is newly built and has all modern features and amenities. We spent many hours on the deck under the pergola admiring the views (rainbow, full moon and gorgeous sunsets). The home is has everything we could need during an 8 day stay. It is less than .5 miles from many charming restaurants and shops. The neighborhood is safe and walkable even for people with some mobility issues. We would definitely visit again.

Clean, spacious, and elegant home.
It is a beautiful house tastefully decorated that felt more spacious than the pictures showed. 30 minutes from Legoland, 25 minutes from Coronado beach, in a nice and quite neighborhood. 3 rooms all with access to own beautiful bathrooms. The outdoor propane fire pit table was great; we used it a couple of times and sat by the fire with my boys for story time. Home AC and ceiling fans in every room made for a comfortable stay. Susan met us upon arrival and showed us around the house, and was quickly available for any inquiry. Would definitely stay here again.

The house is beautifully decorated and the floor plan and outside space are very open and welcoming. This was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Great location and easy to get to restaurants and the beach. Host was very friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to renting this house again.

We had never stayed in Mission Hills before, this historic neighborhood is beautiful, upscale and well kept. Many homes are true to the original Mission Style, many are modern new construction. This home is newish construction true to the original Mission Style with quality finishes. Loved that all lighting is on dimmers. This home feels homey and cozy and quality. Every needed household item was well stocked including gas to bbq and firepit on the lovely patio overlooking the canyon . Great local coffee shop and wine shop walking distance just around the corner and several great restaurants just a few blocks away. The owner Susan is always available for any questions or tips about the area. Of note, the master bedroom only has sheer curtains. It’s not an issue for privacy but I wish I had an eye mask or there was an option to keep the room darker until I’m ready to wake up. We love this super convenient and upscale location and the house was such nice quality and clean we would stay here again.

Beautiful and relaxing
This is by far one of our top stays! Not only was the location amazing for our son graduating from MCRD (and can view it from our balcony) but the home has everything we needed to cook a feast for our new Marine! The decor and comfort of the home is a 10/10. The morning coffee and evening cocktail by the fire pit were my favorite parts! The house opens up for a tranquil ambiance. Beds are very comfortable and we just adore Susan. She was very responsive, accommodating, and personable. We will definitely book again!

The home is impeccably clean, quiet, bright, comfortable, well-appointed and very tastefully decorated. The layout is spacious and provides plenty of privacy for each of the 3 bedrooms. The large deck overlooking a canyon and nicely landscaped yard is a lovely spot to relax. Our hosts were very friendly, accommodating and responsive. The location is centrally located in a beautiful neighborhood with several restaurants and coffee shops, parks and historical sites in walking distance. Our stay was perfect, and I really can't recommend highly enough!

Wonderful rental all the way around. Great location. Beautiful home with elegant touches and interior decor. Fresh, new and makes you just as comfortable staying home than going out and about. Susan is a very personable and responsive host. I would return here without a second thought.
