The house was next to Trexlers marina which was very convenient for us to gas up. I was concerned it would be loud but it was not bothersome in the least during the week we were there in end of June. Great area in Moultonborough, very close to grocery store (JoJo's was amazing). Only negative I would say is the description of the 3rd floor was incorrect. While there were many beds up there, there was no furniture otherwise. We had a great experience and we plan to book again next year!! Highly recommend.

Reviewer Comments: The house description was accurate and the house looked just like the photos. It was clean, well kept with a beautiful yard and amenities We liked the layout and everyone had plenty of room. We had 5 different families with kids from 6 mos. to 12.
There were minor issues. The kitchen is great but the table seats 8, there are spare chairs in a downstairs closet but you can't fit them around the table. It would be nice to have a picnic table on the deck so everyone could eat together. Several of the lights were out. There are plenty of spare bulbs but no way to put them in because the fixtures are high and there is no step ladder. One of the bedrooms had drapes that would not close, the pull was broken. I called the first day but did not get a call back so they weren't fixed. We could not get big TV in the main room to work. I did get a call about that but no one could come until we were gone. There is a smaller TV room that the kids used and that worked.
The house is far from entertainment, restaurants etc. but the marina is very handy. Truthfully we did not mind at all. It was so beautiful and we had so much to do we all were tired at night and just hung out with each other, which is a good thing.
We also liked that we were off the main lake in a cove area so even though there was boat traffic it wasn't a lot even with the marina. We used the canoe and kayaks and brought a boat and jet ski with us.
All in all the only reason we didn't give it 5 stars is the small problems we had with no customer service (all lights should be checked before new people come). The house itself is beautiful, well maintained inside and out with a great layout and in a good location. We really had a wonderful time.
