We had a very good stay. Great position, amazing terrace for a quiet and relaxing end of the day. Very close to local beaches and cosy restaurants. Very kind staff, Athina is always available and super nice!

Athina the owner is an absolute sweetheart, welcoming and lovely. The location is perfect - 30 seconds from Nea Chora beach with its cute tavernas and bars, and 10/15 minutes walk from the old town. The room was perfect for a solo traveller - cosy, comfortable single bed, large wardrobe space and a cute little balcony. The bathroom was fine, but the shower space is very small so you’re essentially showering over the toilet, and as it’s a wet room, everything gets soaked. I was scared of flooding the room and having the water flow out into the bedroom but this doesn’t happen so no need to worry! Also, the air conditioner leaks onto the balcony so you’ll end up with a big puddle if it’s left on

I loved it was 2 minutes from the beach in town, in the area where sunset was the most beautiful. Could sit till late on sand, in the evening. Very clean everything. Very hospitable owner. The restaurants nearby were very good.

This is the third time I have stayed here and it's always a pleasure.Situated a few metres from the beach at Nea Chora, quiet and lovely.No problem checking in and staff are unfailingly helpful and obliging.Very good value for money in prime location.

Good walking distance from the beach and the old city.

The room was without a view, very small even for one person and the street was noisy.

The room was a bit small, but had everything we needed. It had a comfortable bed, a kitchenette with a sink, a fridge and an electric kettle. The host, Athina, was very nice and helpful and very easy to communicate to. She gave us the key to our room a few hours earlier than the check in time, which was very nice of her. The apartment is very very close to the beach and also walking distance to the city center and the bus station. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Penelopi Rooms was very conveniently located, close to the beach and a short 15 minute walk from the center of Old Chania. The room was large and very clean, with a bedroom and living room, as well as a balcony.

The bathroom was an average size, but could have been larger (also, there was no curtain or screen between the shower and the rest of the bathroom). But generally, the room was more comfortable and convenient than expected.

The location is great just 20 seconds from the beach, staff is super nice, they upgraded my room for free and they let me stay in the room till my afternoon flight on the last day. Just a percect place in the best location.

Just a bit noisy sometimes....

The location is amazing, 10 mins walk to the old town of Chania, the sea was just around the corner, and a lovely coffe shop with delicious Greek pastries almost next door.

I have nothing negative to add, check in and greeting was very welcoming and flawless.

The room was too small and smelled funny Shower was like they used to have 50 years ago, just a small corner in the very small bathroom.

Mid-century building with lovely rooms. Basic but exactly what is needed for a stay at Chania. Very close to the town! And the host was simply amazing, accommodating and helpful.

Perhaps if I had to find something I didn’t like was the beds squeaking.

Everything was great. Athina is a wonderful host, very helpful. The room was cozy, and it was cleaned regularly. There's a nice beach nearby and lots of good restaurants. Overall, a very nice experience.

Perfect location a small walk to the old venetian and center of Chania. Near to the beaches and easy access to buses. Highly recommended!

Just was a bit weird the toilet with the shower Facility without separation and got weat every time I shower. But it's not a negative thing.
