Comfortable, clean and quiet, with helpful staff, and a good breakfast. Lake Michigan is right across the road from the west side of the hotel, so some of the rooms have lake views. Definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful staff! Loved Jenny who took care of breakfast. She was so kind and thoughtful, made our stay there very enjoyable. We had the large reception room for all our family to gather in and found it very comfortable.

The check-in started a little rocky, hotels.com had not sent the hotel my reservation. However, after a few minutes Jake at the front desk was able to get everything taken care of. Overall, we had a nice stay. We typically stay at a different hotel while in St. Joe but that hotel is under construction, that led us to this Holiday Inn which is close to downtown, clean, friendly staff. We may have found our new favorite hotel while in St. Joe!

The staff was friendly, helpful and made the stay very enjoyable. Breakfast was great and the hotel was ver quiet. The rooms were a bit dated, but they were big, beds were very comfortable, and the view of Lake Michigan were just perfect. I definitely recommend this hotel, and I will be coming back.

Beautiful location! Front desk staff was nice and courteous!!! Requested a room w/ a view of the lake and though they stated standard rooms did not have, we did have a side view! Was much better than a view of the parking lot 😊 Could have been cleaner. Behind the beds were REALLY dusty! (I always look for evidence of bed bugs! Good there!!) Coffee maker was GROSS! I used bottle water, which I'm sure most don't! I brewed just a plain cup of water 1st and I could see all sorts of nasty stuff floating in my cup after I brewed it. So then I had to wait and go down to get a cup of coffee from breakfast area.Those really should be included in housekeeping! Run vinegar then water thru to clean the lime scale!! They are basically useless if not cleaned, in my opinion! The beds were mostly comfortable but the pillows were too soft for my hsband and I. Woke up with stiff necks! Could use some hooks in the room for hanging clothes, etc. Hot breakfast was not too bad, even had turkey sausage for those that do not eat pork!! Bacon would be better 😆 The pancake machine is pretty awesome!! We did get to use the pool and hot tub in the morning, which was nice, but by evening that area was overtaken by a bunch of teenagers. No one at fault for that, to be expected anytime you stay somewhere with an indoor pool😉 This will more than likely be our hotel choice when visiting Saint Joe again!

Came up to St Joe to attend the Fernwood Holiday Market. This is one of our favorite HIX hotels. Always clean, well maintained with a great variety of room choices. Breakfast is good, hotel is centrally located with awesome views of the Lake. Sometimes hard to get a room if it is a Notre Dame weekend but worth the effort!

Best hotel I stayed at in along time.

Parking is not the greatest but I have seen much worse. That’s my only complaint.

Great stay, very clean rooms and common areas, lots of choices at breakfast, clean pool area, beautiful lake views. I'd stay here again. Rooms were quite roomy and the bed was very comfy. Only had one mishap with card lock not working but was quickly resolved. Front desk was very helpful and friendly.

Close to downtown for shops/food and wedding venue that we were attending. Very clean, good breakfast and staff was very helpful.

the location of the building with the traffic all day and night was dreadful, we couldn't enjoy sitting on the balcony and enjoy the lake view without the interruption of the traffic. just terrible

Great location, nice room

The suite had everything we needed for a family of four. The view of Lake Michigan across the street can’t be beat. My only complaint is how small the dining area is for the breakfast in the morning. For a place of its size, it’s such a small area to pack everyone in to grab their breakfast. Aside from that, everything was great. The pool was heated and we had the whole thing to ourselves. The hot tub was also great. I would suggest this location to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

Very nice stay, very clean & comfortable. Not really "on the beach" but close. Way overpriced but it was nice, quiet, and clean & comfortable.

Husband ended up with Covid on our trip. We checked out early. Was told we would be able to get a refund for leaving early. Refund was declined after getting home and checking on it. We will not be using this facility again.

Good location with a nice view of Lake Michigan. Property is clean and in fair shape but in need of an update. The free breakfast was a little hectic the person taking care of it did an great job of keeping it stocked.

We ended up paying extra for the Holiday Inn because we thought it would be nicer and cleaner. The hotel is dated and not very clean. There are better options for less money just a few minutes away.

The description makes an impression that there is the access to the lake, but there is not at all.

Room was facing Highway 94 on the first floor,noisy and we could barely see the lake. When we booked it said a lake view room. Way too expensive for a 2-3 star hotel that needs some renovation. My daughter developed some bad allergic reaction to the dust or mold in the room. We payed almost $400 per night and there was no housekeeping for 3 days, nobody even came to take the garbage out or to give us clean towels. Key card was working at the pool. Breakfast was just ok.

The only reason they get 3 stars is because the people that work there, in every area of the hotel, were exceptionall

We had a terrible experience with this hotel. Our room was disgusting with hair everywhere, mysterious food on our walls, etc. When no one came to refresh our room after the first night, I called the front desk and was informed that they are not doing daily refreshes because of a lack of employees. It was promised that the rooms were cleaned every third day. No one came the entire time we were there, 5 days/4nights. Our trash and dirty towels were piled up in the bathroom. We will never be back to this hotel! We will pay a cheaper price for a nicer hotel a few miles down then road! Happy to be out of the Holiday Inn!
