It was pretty centrally located and we had really good service checking in and out. Stayed for 5 days. Building is very old and that probably accounts for some issues like paper thin walls, doors slammed all night long. Plumbing was crazy loud and you could hear when anyone flushed or showered, used the elevator etc. Walls and ceiling are not insulated.
In addition, room had not been maintained well. Both showers had no water pressure, 1 shower didn't drain. TV/ cable didn't work, took us about an hour to fix it, front desk had no one to send. There was trash and old food in the fridge when we got there. The electrical panel in our room had no blanks in the dead front for safety. There were a few doors and windows that were covered up. Our bedframe stuck out about 3" past the bed. I smashed my knee on it the first day and husband came home with bruises on both shins because of the bed frame. On the upside the heater worked great.
(I tried to attach pictures but app wouldn't let me.)

Our stay was quite lovely. Rooms are a bit dated but the location and price were perfect for our family. I would certainly recommend for those looking to stay close to the French Quarter and needing some space for a group. Six of us stayed quite comfortably in the suite.

Excellent location, good facilities and room condition for the price. A very good stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I booked a stay from Jan 29 to Jan 31. I was supposed to pay at the hotel at check-in but my card was ran before we arrived at the hotel and was overcharged. The cooking utensils were burned and food was still in it. The pictures had mold in them. Mold in the bathroom tiles. The dishwasher couldn't open all the way as it would hit the refrigerator door. The tile floor in the kitchen was sticky. There carpet was dirty and stain and had gum on it or something.

The tub was old and dirty and needs to be replaced. The shower didn’t have good water pressure. The bathroom was really the only issue I had except for the strong smoke smell coming from the rooms right off the elevator

We enjoyed our stay. Our room had everything we needed and its location is ideal for getting out to enjoy the city.

There was a problem with a room lock when I arrived and I was upgraded to a huge suite. Amy at the front desk was brilliant - knowledgeable of the area, great recommendations for food and shopping, friendly. I’ll definitely return here when back in NOLA.

The hotel workers were very friendly and nice. The lobby is nicely decorated but hotel is out of date. It was extremely cold and the water took more than 30 minutes to heat up for a shower. The second night the plumbing messed up and backed up into the shower. Not sure if it was a weather related issue bc it was very cold. They did move us to another room so I would stay there again... the price was good and hotel workers weee helpful and friendly.

The front desk lasy was amazing and great when we checked in. I would not recommend as very overpriced for the room. The room was not even part of the historical building. There was was store front type door that was the "window". The ac unit was very loud each time it kicked on and about every 20 min there was a noise that sounded as a blender was being used.

Hotel in good location and room we had matched description/details. It worked well for our group. Check-in late at night was great and we received a lot of help get in and situated. Parking on street was bit of an issue and we received a lot of help during check in to make that a non-issue

We really enjoyed our stay here. We slept 8 with no problem. Would stay again.

Property was clean and roomy for a party of 5. Loud at night due to location, but it’s New Orleans city doesn’t really sleep! It is an older hotel not modern but for the price it’s good. Elevator a little shaky but it worked. AC didn’t work well but I’m sure it was the New Orleans heat.

Centrally located, walking distance to the quarter and riverwalk.
Lack of parking was a huge hassle. Having the air conditioner pop a breaker and stop working in June was not fun.
Luckily it was an easy fix once we were told what happened and how to fix it.

The hotel/condo was warm & welcoming. The kitchen was a wonderful asset after a long day of walking NO. Being able to take a slow easy morning NO coffee on the rooftop terrace was amazing - or evening glass of wine. I would very highly recommend and we will return.
Expedia REALLY needs to update the parking options - there is no parking available except to go to Harrah's.

Great location but very outdated. We couldn't get the AC working and the hot water took forever to get going. No parking provided (hotels.com said there was).

Check in was easy. Everyone was friendly. The rooms and living area was spacious. There were extra towels and blankets in the closet. Things I didnt like is the floors were very creeky and there is no parking for the hotel. You have to park at the casino, luckily we found a parking garage right down the street. Overall it was a great stay! Thanks.

Room needs updating especially all the blinds and coffee was left for us but no cream or sugar.
Room needs updating to look like the pictures on the website.
Lobby is updated but the room was not.

My husband and I brought our two boys and two nephews (ages 6, 7, 10 & 10) to stay a couple of nights in a 3 bedroom suite. The instructions to get to the suite from the clerk were vague (annex building next door) and instructions on getting free parking at Harrahs were also unclear. The accommodations themselves were fine for our purposes, but the plumbing throughout the building was very loud. It woke us up in the middle of the night when someone was either showering or flushing their toilet. The location was very convenient.

We loved it here! The unique layout and bathroom added to the overall NOLA experience. We didn’t utilize a ton of the features but the convenience of location and friendliness of staff was appreciated.

I was there for the 4 days before Mardi Gras. The location is great, perfect for the parades, and only 15 minutes walking time from Bourbon Street. The area is very safe as well as I had been returning at 3am and such. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the studio I had was very clean. Now the hallway and elevators do look jaded and smell overperfumed as such but the interior of the rooms have no issues. Special kudos to Gale and Amy for being very friendly

Check-in very easy. Front desk staff friendly.
Was there a Friday and Saturday so there was no service staff..nothing needed

This property was a bit difficult because there isn’t a designated drop off or parking lot. You can park next door for $40. We had to drive around the block till someone moved their car to check in and drop off luggage. We turned in out rental early so we didn’t have to hassle with parking. Front desk was ok. But checkout was 10 am. I wish I would have read the small print on this one. I asked for late check out could only get till 10:30. This is the only hotel I’ve stayed out with that early of a checkout. Our room was in the building next door. You walk down a strange hallway to a small elevator that lets you out basically in front of your door with a door to the stairs next to it. It was kind of scary. The whole hallway and room had a very strong scent of deodorant. I opened a door it narrow balcony to let in fresh air. The room was clean. Beds comfortable enough but took up whole room and don’t plan on watching tv because the tv is small and some buttons didn’t work on remote. The living room was clean lots of places to sit a watch tv there. Kitchen has everything you need. Would I stay there again probably not. Too much trouble, kind of scary and checkout too early. I was just glad it was clean and only had to stay one night.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom and one bath suite. Pros were that the bedrooms on opposite ends of unit afforded significant privacy. The beds were very comfortable. The layout was unique. Sofa bed was also comfy for teen children.
Cons, really none. The bizarre shower was in the jacuzzi tub which may be difficult for seniors.
The pool is more of a hot tub but with cool water and in a minimal space, but a cute feature if you want to cool off in the NOLA weather. Location was a short walk to the French Quarter. The Sunday flea market at the French market was full of crafts and a fun highlight.
The rooms were spacious, the staff friendly, I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here for one night in New Orleans. Best part is the location; the hotel is within walking distance of everything in the French Quarter. It's also less than 10-15 minute walk to the streetcar to visit the Garden District. The building is old but the suites are spacious and clean, bed was comfortable. Bathroom had fresh towels and toiletries. Overall was a pleasant stay for one night.

Parade route surprise. Bad: hurry hurry move the car before it gets towed. Good: front row seat to parade.

They need their own parking facility or discount at one near them. At midnight Saturday night I had to park 4 blocks away and walk alone to hotel.

Everything was great on the hotel part...I had a cooler with luggage, got a cart but the floor had steps so I had to pack everything over the steps.
